The complete collection of Schumacher F1 cars were on display. Difficult to get them all into a single shot over the rope barrier! But managed to get the cars from 1999 to 2006 in, which includes the 5 championship winning Ferraris between 2000 and 2004. Plus you can just about see the rear wing of a Mercedes in the background too.

I'm stampolina and I love to take photos of stamps. Thanks for visiting this pages on flickr.

I'm neither a typical collector of stamps, nor a stamp dealer. I'm only a stamp photograph. I'm fascinated of the fine close-up structures which are hidden in this small stamp-pictures. Please don't ask of the worth of these stamps - the most ones have a worth of a few cents or still less.

By the way, I wanna say thank you to all flickr users who have sent me stamps! Great! Thank you! Someone sent me 3 or 5 stamps, another one sent me more than 20 stamps in a letter. It's everytime a great surprise for me and I'm everytime happy to get letters with stamps inside from you!

thx, stampolina

For the case you wanna send also stamps - it is possible. (...I'm pretty sure you'll see these stamps on this photostream on flickr :) thx!

Shown is a 1994 Benetton-Ford B194 Grand Prix Car.

It was driven in 1994 by seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher, Jos Verstappen, JJ Lehto and Johnny Herbert. This car won 8 of the 16 Grands Prix in the hands of Schumacher and gave him his first drivers title. Benetton finished second in the constructors standings.

The number 13 on this car has been added by the current owner, as have the 'Kockney Koi' logos. The car carried race numbers 5 and 6 and Mild Seven logos on the engine cover and wing surfaces.

Pictured is a 1995 Benetton-Renault B195 Grand Prix Car.

It was driven in 1995 by seven-times Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher and Johnny Herbert.

Having won the Drivers Championship with Michael Schumacher in 1994 much was expected of Benetton the following season.

After eight years as the 'works' Ford team Benetton went into 1995 with Renault power. The team was given equal 'works' status with Renault stalwarts Williams and would enjoy identical V10 power to that of the reigning Constructors Champions.

The season started well in Brazil with both cars qualifying in the top four (Schumacher second, Herbert fourth) and ultimately saw Schumacher win the opening round from the Williams of David Coulthard and take fastest lap. Herbert retired from the race after being taken taken out by Ligier's Aguri Suzuki.

However, the top two cars were disqualified from the results after the Elf fuel used by both Benetton and Williams was found to be different from the control sample supplied at the beginning of the year. Both teams appealed the decision and had their results re-instated, although the teams lost their Constructors points from the race.

The second round in Argentina was more problematic for Benetton with the B195 not being suited to the circuit. Schumacher qualified third with Herbert back in eleventh. The team had a quiet race with Schumacher finishing third (with fastest lap), over thirty seconds behind the race winning Williams of Damon Hill. Herbert made progress in the race and finished a lapped fourth.

The third round at Imola saw Schumacher take Pole Position for the San Marino Grand Prix. In damp conditions, Schumacher led the early stages of the race but decided to take a gamble and change to slick tyres. It was a gamble that didn't pay off. Shortly after his pit stop the German lost control of the car and slammed into a tyre wall to end his day early. Herbert finished seventh and out of the points, two laps down of race winner Damon Hill.

The Spanish Grand Prix at Barcelona was where the team's season took off in style. Schumacher again took Pole Position and went on to dominate the race, taking a comfortable victory. Damon Hill had been running second but suffered a gearbox failure on the final lap that allowed Johnny Herbert to finish second and score the first podium finish of his Formula 1 career and gave Benetton their first 1-2 finish since the 1990 Japanese Grand Prix.

The following race in Monaco again saw Schumacher romp home to victory in the principality for the second year in succession with Herbert coming home a lapped fourth.

Round 6 in Canada turned into a nightmare for the team. Schumacher qualified on Pole Position and dominated the race until twelve laps from the finish when a gearbox glictch forced him into the pits. After a steering wheel change Schumacher rejoined the race and finished fifth. Herbert had been eliminated on the first lap after being harpooned by McLaren's Mika Hakkinen at the circuit's hairpin.

The French Grand Prix at Magny Cours saw another dominant victory for Schumacher with fastest lap to extend his championship lead. Herbert was once again eliminated early on, this time being hit by Ferrari's Jean Alesi on the third lap of the race. Things would get much better for the Englishman in the next race at Silverstone.

The British Grand Prix saw Schumacher and Hill swap the lead during their respective pit stops. Late in the race Schumacher was heading for another victory when Hill made a clumsy attempt at an overtake and took both cars out of the race. This left Johnny Herbert, who had been running third, to inherit the lead and he went on to claim his maiden victory on home ground.

Next time out in Germany Hill spun out of the lead at the start of the second lap which left Schumacher to romp home to an undisputed victory in front of the home crowd. Herbert finished a distant fourth.

The Hungarian Grand Prix was another circuit that just didn't suit the B195. Schumacher ran in second position for most of the race but retired late on with a fuel pump failure and was classified eleventh. Herbert did salvage some points for the team by coming home a lapped fourth.

The next round in Belgium saw mixed conditions for qualifying. Herbert managed to qualify fourth but the rain had started by the time Schumacher went for a flying lap and he could qualify only sixteenth.

Herbert took the lead of the race mid-way round the first lap but was passed on the second, although he did lead for two more laps shortly after. He eventually dropped down the order and finished out of the points in seventh.

Schumacher, meanwhile, had been carving his way through the field with a typical wet weather masterclass. Despite driving on slicks on a wet track for a number of laps he made his way to the front and took a brilliant victory from the eighth row of the grid.

The Italian Grand Prix at Monza was a carbon copy of the Silverstone race. Schumacher and Hill were running second and third when they came up to lap the Footwork of Taki Inoue. Schumacher passed the Japanese driver cleanly but Hill mis-judged his braking and slammed into the back of the Benetton taking both cars out of the race.

Once again at the end it was Herbert who stayed out of trouble to claim his second win of the season.

The next round in Portugal was dominated by David Coulthard who went on to take his maiden victory with Schumacher managing to split the two Williams cars to finish second. Herbert ended the race a lapped seventh.

The European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring was held in tricky conditions but saw Schumacher pull off a brilliant overtake around the outside of Jean Alesi late in the race to claim his second home victory of the year. It was a result that also saw him get within touching distance of winning the championship, arch rival Hill having crashed out earlier in the race. Herbert finished fifth, one lap down on his team-mate.

The Pacific Grand Prix at Aida in Japan saw another dominant drive from Schumacher and the victory handed the German his second world title with two races to spare. Herbert scored a solitary point for sixth position.

The next round at Suzuka saw Schumacher take another win with Herbert finishing third to give the team another double podium. That result was enought to clinch the Constructors Championship for Benetton, the team's first (and what would prove to be only) constructors crown.

The final race of the season in Australia ended on a sad note with Schumacher being eliminated from his last race for Benetton in a mid-race collision with Jean Alesi's Ferrari Ironically, Schumacher would be in the Ferrari and Alesi in the Benetton the following year. Herbert had been running second late in the race but retired with driveshaft failure in his final race for the team.

At the end of the season, the Benetton drivers would finish first (Schumacher) and fourth (Herbert) in the championship. With eleven wins from seventeen races Benetton comfortably took the Constructor's Championship.

A web of dreams! This is a photo of the 2010 Mercedes GP Formula 1 car as driven by Nico Rosberg and Michael Schumacher. The car has been completely stripped dow to the last screw, nut, washer, and spring clip, all suspended fron the ceiling in its exact mounting/fitting order and position...if I remember correctly, there were almost 3000 parts suspended in mid air. I took a photo from the side view as well, but I'll put that up at a later stage. The photo was taken at the Mercedes Benz "Live" showroom at Brooklands, UK. Enjoy.

In a beautiful old building near Hamburg's Speicherstadt is the PROTOTYP car museum. Primarily German post-WWII machines.

This building is from 1920 and it used to be a factory where they created hard rubber items like walking sticks and combs. The area was bombed in WWII but this building survived. The area was in bad shape until the end of the previous century, the entire area was resurrected and the museum opened in 2008.

Collection is not that big but what they have is in great shape and the presentation is up there with the best. What you see is the 7up Jordan Ford 3.5L V8, Michael Schumacher's first F1 car from 1991. In the back the 24h Le Mans winning 919 LMP quattro-killer from 2017. It's plastic, it's fake. They also have the Touareg Dakar winning machine of rally legend Nasser Al-Attiyah and a Porsche V12 F1 engine.

The have a racing simulator build in an old Porsche chassis and Nazi touring memorabilia. They have a GT3 racer and Herbie in the basement and further down they have a photo exhibition of the Mille Miglia. Small store and a cafe. It's allright!

Never give in and believe in yourself - everyone of you!!

Looks like Michael Schumacher.

Quite a few lookalikes that day, none were intentional I guess, surely someone has said it to them?

Had a fab time at the Haworth 1940s Weekend. The village was bustling with all genres of wartime nostalgia.

It was driven in 1992 by seven-times Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher, a sister car being driven by Martin Brundle.

This is the actual car (Chassis 8) that Schumacher drove in the final two rounds of the 1992 season. The car retired with a gearbox failure early on in the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka but ended the year in style by finishing runner-up in the Australian Grand Prix at Adelaide, less than a second behind the winning McLaren of Gerhard Berger.

The Benetton B192 is a Formula One racing car designed by Ross Brawn and Rory Byrne and raced by the Benetton team in the 1992 Formula One season. The car was quite competitive with Michael Schumacher and Martin Brundle scoring several podiums with it. Schumacher, in his first full F1 season, came of age as a Grand Prix driver when he won the rain-affected Belgian Grand Prix

Although my grandson,Tyler's, big 'thing' is Indiana Jones these days, he still wears his Lighting McQueen slippers. Tyler and his little brother, Gavin, now have pretty much everything from the 'Cars', 'Thomas', 'Indiana Jones' and 'Star Wars' franchises. Gavin is now working on 'In the Night Garden'.

The last race of the Piston Cup stock car racing season ends in a three-way tie between retiring veteran Strip "The King" Weathers, perennial runner-up and dirty fighter Chick Hicks, and rookie Lightning McQueen. A tiebreaker race is scheduled for one week later at the Los Angeles International Speedway. McQueen, eager to start practice in California as soon as possible in order to become Cup champion and gain the sponsorship of Dinoco Oil, pushes his transport carrier, Mack, to travel all night long. Mack is too exhausted to notice when McQueen, asleep, falls out the back of the truck. McQueen awakes in traffic and speeds off to try to find Mack, but ends up in the run-down town of Radiator Springs, inadvertently tearing up its main street. The town is now only inhabited by an interesting group of automobliles who fulfill a number of functions. McQueen is arrested and tried the next day by the town's judge, Doc Hudson, who wants McQueen out of town as fast as possible. But at the insistence of Sally Carerra, the town's lawyer, Doc assigns McQueen to community service by ordering him to repave the road.

McQueen finds that the job of pulling the asphalt-laying machine requires a slow pace despite attempts to complete the job faster. As the days pass, McQueen becomes friends with many of the townsfolk, and learns that Radiator Springs was once a popular waypoint along U.S. Route 66, but that it effectively disappeared from the map when a bypass was built, causing many of the businesses and residents to leave. McQueen also discovers that Doc is actually the "Hudson Hornet", a three-time Piston Cup champion forced to retire after a racing accident. McQueen, encouraged by his new friends, successfully completes the road and spends an extra day in town cruising with Sally and getting a new paint job and tires. However, that night, Mack, followed by the media, finally catches up to McQueen, who reluctantly leaves Radiator Springs in order to make the race on time.

As McQueen prepares to race, his thoughts keep returning to his new friends, and his thoughts distract him from performing well. However, he is surprised to discover that Doc, outfitted in his "Hudson Hornet" colors, along with others from Radiator Springs are serving as his pit crew. Encouraged by their presence and their incredible pit stop speed, and by using tricks he learned from them while in Radiator Springs, McQueen is able to gain the lead. On the last lap of the race, Hicks purposely runs into The King while attempting to catch up to McQueen, and causes The King off the track and into the infield. McQueen stops inches short of winning the Cup to drive back and push The King across the finish line, thus preventing what happened to Doc from happening to The King. By doing so, he allows Hicks to take the Cup. After the race, Hicks is shunned for his tactics despite his victory, while McQueen is praised by The King and his wife as well as by the press and crowd for his sportsmanship. McQueen returns to Radiator Springs and announces that he will set up his off-season headquarters there, helping to revitalize the town and its business, much to the pleasure of his new friends.
