Who can't help but fall in love with such beautiful lines and curves. Working without a light meter has taught me a few things along the way.

From my Dads Archive
In my ongoing mission to archive my Dads photography I'm now working on his medium format film. I am not spotting these as it takes to much time and in many cases not possible.
It-is-what-it-is, a moment in time.
I'm really liking the Schneider-Kreuznach Radionar lens on this Balda Baldalux folder.
Just checked the serial number on the lens, and it was made some time between October 1950 and May 1951. Not too shoddy for being 60 years old.
Test roll from a Zodel (Wallace Heaton branded) Balda Baldalux 6x9 folder, using the 6x4.5 mask. Shot wide open at f4.5, possibly at 1/25th on a very grey Sunday afternoon.
Taken at the San Jose Museum of Art back in Feb 2013 for the Chinese New Year celebration. These are two lion costumes prior to the dance.
On this day, I tried to get some good shots, but the clutch of the camera died and I only got these frames before registration errors cursed the rest of the roll. I've since had it repaired.
This was shot on Kodak TMax 400 film and "scanned" by taking a picture on a light table with a Pentax K10D.
