This is one of my brother's slides from the 80's through the early 90's. He has images from Southern Ontario, Nova Scotia and a few from Alberta/Montana.
He gave me his slides to scan and process. Many are up on his Flickr account, and more will come as he gets computer time to label and them and make them public..

A preview of a new series that I have high hopes for, being a bit of a perfectionist when I'm happy with the other prints I'll upload more.
It just has to be japanese! That plait makes "Shinobi" a very dangerous enemy in close combats. Long legs provide both incredible speed and abilities to make illogically long jumps. Knows no mercy as its heart is under the blade, and its blade is elsewhere...
Looks a bit fatty for a ninja, but the cockpit itself is 4*4*4 studs plus some detail I had to add, so it wouldn't look like a cube with limbs))
The Briggs tank is a new and revolutionary medium tank created by the same research and development facility it is named after: Fort Briggs. Designed to have an unprecedented combination of armor, mobility, and firepower, this tank is reportedly so advanced that even Brigg's own engineers are unsure of just how it was created. Some of the design team claims that human sacrifice was needed in order to learn how to make such a weapon, but this is of course absurd as the Amestrian government definitely doesn't experiment on human lives. Not yet in active service, this tank is currently being put through trials in the harsh mountain regions in the North.
Featuring an armor layout of 80/35/20 as well as a turret with 70mm thick of armor, the Briggs tank is equipped with protection similar to what might be expected of super heavy tank, especially when the sloping is taken into consideration.
This armor does not come at the expensive of speed or mobility, as the 300hp engine allows for a maximum speed of 40 kp/h and an operational range of 200 kilometers.
When it comes to firepower the Briggs tank is no slough either, featuring a high-velocity 75mm gun capable of penetrating 176mm of armor at 100 meters or 130mm of armor at 1,000 meters. For defensive measures the vehicles is equipped with one .30 cal machine gun just above the frontal glacis.
Famed scientist and supposed alchemist Van Hohenheim has warned that this tank could lead to dire consequences if it is put into service. Hohenheim claims that it is both unnatural and impossible for the current technology of the day, and that its use could result in nature taking harsh preventive measures to correct reality using such methods as meteor strikes on major cosmopolitanism cities. Central Command has publically dismissed these claims, but there are rumors that behind the scenes there is fierce debate going on over whether or not these tanks pose a national security risk.
(4rth wall: this vehicle is a modification of Lego4life's Panzer IV H which highly resembles the tank used by Amestris in the 2009 anime Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood)

I took some bread to the beach to feed the gulls with the kids ( used to do this all the time when i was little) there was only one lonely pigeon there when i tossed out the first crum and within about a minute there were HUNDREDS off gulls there and they got SO close, it was a trip. Did get a bit creeped when i ran out and they still kept hovering there for a bit :)

The Gurdergen are a race of traders, merchants and schemers. Vessels like this near ubiquitous model traverse the popular trade routes of most civilised species; delivering much needed supplies at a price.
Containers can be swapped in and out as needed and give the ship significant flexibility. The lack of defensive systems means the ship is vulnerable to pirates and other threats; travelling with an escort is often an expensive necessity.
