Well I said "If you are looking for the Happy Medium, then youve found me!" Looks like a happy future here in the cards for you!
Macro Mondays theme: Mediums
I had a hard time carving out time for Macro Mondays this week but I hate missing one. This is a calligraphy pen and a current shot of a sample I did years ago.

Macro Mondays: Mediums
Watercolor crayons on a reflective folder.
100MM, window light.
So many creative and wonderful images for this theme! HMM everyone.
This dendrite on the playa is nearly 1/2 mile long including its "roots" in the shallow lake. It is the second longest dendrite, after the "big tree" that is 1.5 miles in length.
I was surprised to see the colors in this one, light channels on a dark background. That is nearly the reverse of the big tree near it that has dark channels on a white background. Portions of the Big Tree can be seen on the upper right.
Maybe I should give these trees species names. What type of living tree does this one look like?
I came back to Japan. I rented a minivan and covered 5,000 km.
For 6 weeks I lost myself on the roads between Tokyo, Kobe, Tottori and Hiroshima.

This is an old chrome of mine that has been scanned. It was shot with a (used) Mamiya 645 without a light meter or prizm finder. I guessed the exposure and thought I would get nothing, but it was worth a try. When I got my film back I was thrilled, I never expected it to come out. These two were at a temple celebration in Sanur, Bali in 1994.
Time to shoot film photos. Mamiya C33 and a Rolleiflex medium format film cameras. Both cameras work well. Here is an image taken with the Rolleiflex. In the near future I will take photos with the Mamiya C33.
Colored pencils are my medium for this MM. Thank you in advance for your views, favs and comments. HMM all.
