6x7 Paper Negative

I cut some Ilfobrom 1.1P (Single Weight) into strips and taped int into a used roll of 120 film. This is a bit more fun than single snips of paper loaded in the darkroom as I got 3 images per 8x10 section (I had 2 sections taped together). The paper is really light weight and jammed a bit in the developing reel - also I didn't tape the paper very straight in the 120 roll.

When I was a young boy, I used to watch my mother as she made the bed, fascinated by the way she would fling the top sheet outward such that it would make that snapping noise, and then, as if to compensate for disturbing the air, flutter gently down over the bed. Two opposites, the snap and the flutter, held in a single moment, a gentle regression to an aesthetic mean.

Cloud formations like this always remind me of the top sheet, splayed outward, trying to float gently back to earth, as if I were in a dream.

And I love how there are two kinds of clouds here. Notice the pinkish billowy, softer clouds behind the textured white ones. I will never grow tired of looking a this lake. I should look into being buried here.

Somewhere on the Great Ocean Road, VIC Australia - i think in Port Campbell National Park, where the road turns inland. My friends got tired of the windy road so we stopped to have a brake - and the views were breathtaking, with such bright colors of the distant fields. Love Australia

I returned to Harrow this morning to get last of batch (since last week!) VWH2055 and this quickly achieved I decided to head to Northwood to bash some DEL’s on the 331.

I fell onto the sole ‘DME’ on the H11, 30377 and it’s seen at Northwood Station after bringing me from Pinner. The rest of the allocation was made up of the more normal DLE’s, so this was a lucky fall on. 11.2.25.
