Couple of light coats of Tamiya Red Oxide primer, which is much much better than the Duplicolour stuff I used on the last lot of terrain. (It went on fine but it's still got a hint of outgassing a year later!)

As you can see, the seams need some work but tbh not as much as I thought they would. It helps that I've put the different pieces at angles, so there isn't a single seam running up the whole tower

Adeptus Mechanicus Lord

Added a layer to the ectoplasm recipe, using Caliban Green as a buffer between the blue-black shading and the mid tones. I also tweaked the final highlight by mixing white ink and Pallid Wych Flesh to get sharper lines. They still spread and I spent a while on the cleaning up.

The robes are just blocked in with Mechanicus Standard Grey, and the trim is Khorne Red.

The Imperium's initial attempts to attack the orks and kill their leader have ended in failure and tragedy, but there can be no surrender: the fate of humanity hangs in the balance. Two members of my New chapter, the Corvid Lords, started for the 6th edition. Mostly based off the raven guard. I painted the scout skin with scorched brown and layered with layers of progressively lighter skin tones over each other before painting flat areas of skin with white scar and washing the whole flesh area with ogryn flesh (latest version will work).

Black armour Abaddon Black with Mechanicus standard grey and dawnstone for finer highlights. White Simply Ceramite white, layered with white scar and washed with nuln oil, flollowed by another coat of white scar to highlight, leaving nuln to shade.
