Rated Absolutely Heretical by 10/10 Adeptus Mechanicus Adepts!

Kinda old creation of mine. It was made exactly two years ago. I just want to share this as is, 'cause I don't think another year spent in a WIP limbo will make it any better. I believe there are dozens of things about these models that could be improved (especially with new parts available), but I just have to leave them at this point and let them go.

Howdy folks, long time no see.

Being the restless creative type I had to delve into a new hobby. Here's my attempt to get into miniature paining.

I picked up a few Adeptus Mechanicus and IG boxes from GW and converted these up.

Hope this is the start of a larger project, but I have very little time so it may be a short phase.

Anyways, glad to be back, enjoy! :)

City Reflections is a two-part 2009 bronze sculpture by Patti Warashina. It is located near the intersection of Southwest 6th Avenue and Southwest Main Street in Portland, Oregon. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_Reflections

This image was a heavily-cropped, using just under 11% of the frame. The 210mm focal length was just not long enough shooting from the top of the 6th Avenue Garage.

Sorry these are late; I was working on the instructions with BrickVault and it took me a while to get the photo editing right on the pictures I took.

This is my favorite build so far, even with the color limitations I'm just so damn proud of it.

The Skitarii Vanguard, informally known as "Rad Troopers," serve as the vanguards of the Skitarii cohorts of the Adeptus Mechanicus Forge Worlds.

They are feared throughout the Imperium, for they use the baleful radioactive energies of the Forge Worlds as their weapon and are capable of operating in the galaxy's most hostile warzones.

The Vostroyan Firstborn are Imperial Guard Regiments. Vostroya is a world in the Halo Zone beyond the Eye of Terror, which swore allegiance to Mars during the Age of Strife. It is now ruled by a committee of Techtriarchs, a mix of Mechanicus Magi and more traditional Imperial planetary government. During the Horus Heresy, Vostroya refused to provide regiments to the Emperor, preferring instead to reserve the population in the manufactoria blanketing the world. After the Heresy, the Vostroyans, out of guilt, agreed to supply every family's firstborn son to service with the Imperial Guard

Legs and Body of Ranger repositioned....

The sad story of Thorvald Ragnarsson's race in real life and in game universe.

The Sicaran Battle Tank was a type of heavy tank used by the Legiones Astartes during the Horus Heresy and Great Crusade. It was developed by the Primarchs Ferrus Manus and Roboute Guilliman alongside the Magos of the Adeptus Mechanicus. One of the more advanced weapons systems used by the Space Marines during this time, the Sicaran utilized component technologies from various STC's such as the Rhino and Land Raider to create a high-speed tank destroyer to complement the Predator and Land Raider on the battlefield.

The Sicaran Battle Tank was primarily armed with two Herakles-pattern Accelerator Autocannons, which allowed it to rapidly fire shells at a far higher velocity than a standard autocannon. Secondary armament included sponson-mounted Lascannons. Because of its advanced weaponry, the Sicaran was capable of tracking and engaging swift moving targets and pinpoint weaknesses in enemy armor with lethal precision.

"All thou shall break the Law of this world, shall be punished by his hammer. Shall be enlightened by his wisdom. Shall be cleansed by his rage. In the God Emperors name we bring order to the chaos, law to the anarchy, justice to the crime!"

-Adeptus Arbites and Planetary Law Enforcement chant of Forge World Drunes Pride.

Dear Brother Sergeant Lazarus,

this is your tool of righteousness, forged in the glorious forges of this very world, by the hands of the Adeptus Mechanicus. 25 rounds of pure and deadly 12 milimeter wide, caseless and rocket propelled projectiles will be thrown at your enemy at a velocity of almost one kilometer per second, with enough iron will to even penetrate the armor of a Inquisitorial Stormtropper. But don't make a mistake Brother, just because you can piss off an Kasrkin with this holy apparatus, doesn't mean you will hit your target. May the Emperor have mercy with anybody your not intended to hit, but unfortunatly do hit. And Brother, you were trained with the Mk.I, but the Mk.II has a so called bolt-catch. See the charging handle on top? If it sticks out and locked when the bolt carrier is pulled back, insert a new magazine and give the handle a good smack from above. May the Golden Throne be with you.

- Sincerely, Captain Augustus Thoren, Adeptus Arbites

Redjak Cult Tech-thralls

Two tech-priests of Adeptus Mechanicus (Warhammer 40000): a younger one and an older one.

Magos Charles Kilrus once was in Inquisitor Donner's retinue, and currently he is working on several top-secret projects led by Archmagos Dominus Belisarius Cawl. His look is now more canonical for a tech-priest, complete with mechadendrites and a servo-skull. And he never forgot his pith helmet given by Praetorian Imperial Guardsmen. Charles Kilrus is armed with an Omnissian power wrench and a laspistol.

Archmagos Eugenius Nikitus is called as the Master of Ideas by his fellow tech-priests. For 700 years of his life, he always sought for new inventions, which was often seen as tech-heresy. His brilliant works were barely noticed until highly innovative Belisarius Cawl came from the shadows. And now, Eugenius is working with Magos Charles Kilrus on some project related to time manipulation. With more augmetics, mechadendrites and artificial legs he looks very much like Cawl, his long-time idol. He wields an Omnissian power wrench and an exotic plasma gun of his own design.

They both are characters I made up for my Warhammer 40000 Xenoarchaeologist stories. Magos Kilrus is a WH40k take on a classic LEGO Adventurers character.
