Adeptus Mechanicus Techno-Magi Aether-Adept & Praetorians. Converted from Space Marine & Cities of Death parts.
I gave the bases a thin layer of Baneblade Brown and then a heavy wash of Agrax Earthshade, with Athonian Camoshade in the low areas.
The rocks and a few small stones were picked out with Mechanicus Standard Grey and then I drybrushed everything with Zandri Dust and a little Flayed One Flesh.
The rocks had another layer of drybrushing with Celestra Grey and Abaddon Black to knock them back a bit, and I added lichen with sponged Iyanden Darksun + Dorn Yellow, and Ogryn Camo + Death World Forest for the greeny patches.
I thought the lichen was a bit srong so I sponged over with Mechanicus Standard Grey to make it more patchy.
The base edges are Steel Legion Drab which helps bring out the cool greens in the bone.
Thin coat of Khorne Red over black, then worked up with the usual palette of reds and oranges. I used the Bloodletter and Lamenters' Yellow glazes to blend at the end, with some medium as well to help diffuse the colours further.
The rest of the box is painted with the Mechanicus Standard Grey and dry-brushed with Administratum Grey.
I also added some washes of Nuln Oil around the glowing area to increase the contrat.
My heavily converted Adeptus Mechanicus army. Converted mainly from Space Marine bodies, Westwind Productions heads and Green Stuff.
My Adeptus Mechanicus army in GW Oxford's cabinet. Mainly converted from Space Marine & Cities of Death parts.
Adeptus Mechanicus Praetorians & mobile shrine. Converted from Space Marine & Cities of Death parts.
Adeptus Mechanicus Servitors to serve as a retinue for my Tech-Priests. Of course without a Tech-Priest to control them they tend to wander round in circles, stare for hours at shiny objects and emit bursts of binary code that sound sound suspiciously like "Hurrrr Derp Derp".

Another full arm, this time I went for a Warhammer 40k colour scheme in Oxblood and Black, with bras accents and gold/bronze cogs.
The entire arm was hand dyed and has a deep lustre to it. It fastens via small 1/2" buckles instead of snaps. The lower vambrace has a small leather pouch which is perfectly sized for tools or Lammie cards. The shoulder attaches via an underarm strap that is fully adjustable.
To commission an arm like this would cost £175-£200. This particular arm is for sale at the moment.
