Sustainable Materials for Net Zero Asphalt Pavements – at the Estonian Embassy in Stockholm
A gathering of innovators, scientists, and infrastructure leaders at the Embassy of Estonia in Stockholm explored how biomaterials can decarbonize road construction. Hosted with Estonian cleantech innovator Fibenol, the event showcased lignin-based solutions and cross-sector collaboration to accelerate Net Zero asphalt pavements and climate-smart cities.
CleanTech Region was advising and mentoring Fibenol through the senior advisory program by Tehnopol.

My idea of education is to give kids the materials and the space they need to create their own learning.
Materials: I used the school-provided camera, manual focus, and Dexter.
Idea: At first it was a very wide shot of dexter but I cropped it to put his eye on a third of the grid.
Process: The process was quite simple I used focus peaking for the manual focus and then wanted to create a sense of anomosity so I went with the crop and B&W
This white board sketch shows a proposed small version of exhibiting the project. The large print would stay inside our trunk, but the top propped open. The inside of the shipping crate walls would contain interpretive panels.

Cloth, acetate, acrylic paint. A2. 05/09/2017. This study is inspired by the Renaissance symbolism of fruit. I painted lemons and oranges, which symbolise greed and wealth, on acetate and stuck them above pieces of cloth so that one can see the texture and colour of the cloth beneath it through the empty acetate. The cloth underneath were some of the most expensive colours (eg. lapis lazuli blue) during Renaissance time periods. Therefore having these citrus fruits above creates a direct connection.
