Cloth, acetate, acrylic paint. A2. 05/09/2017. This study is inspired by the Renaissance symbolism of fruit. I painted lemons and oranges, which symbolise greed and wealth, on acetate and stuck them above pieces of cloth so that one can see the texture and colour of the cloth beneath it through the empty acetate. The cloth underneath were some of the most expensive colours (eg. lapis lazuli blue) during Renaissance time periods. Therefore having these citrus fruits above creates a direct connection.

Con Artist Member Kanako Miyamoto displayed 9 large format photographs printed on unique materials, such as metallic inks on plexiglass and aluminum, as well as 30 additional photos, including 2 collaborations with Con Artist Member Chris Mendoza. This special Valentines Day show, titled "Love Photo" is all about her love for photography and New York. This was a collection of her favorite images presented as objects of beauty. Kanako Miyamoto is originally from Kobe Japan, and has spent the last 12 years photographing, living and loving New York City.

RARA 2026 / ROMA - Aggiornamento - L'apertura del Parco Archeologico del Celio con il Museo della Forma Urbis, 12 gennaio 2024. Aggiornamento - Un nuovo frammento della Forma Urbis Romae portato alla luce al Colosseo? La scansione della mappa FUR per il nuovo museo e il futuro sito web; e la nuova ricomposizione o raggruppamento di diversi frammenti della FUR della mappa originale; in: Dott.ssa Francesca De Caprariis & i Musei Capitolini e la Sovrintendenza Capitolina, 2018-19 e 2024-25. 1). ROME - Between the 2018-19, under the direction of Dr. Francesca De Caprariis & the Musei Capitolini and Sovrintendenza Capitolina (now also the director of the new Forma Urbis Romae project and new museum), along with Italian and American and Spanish scholars and or project partners with the Ancient World Mapping Center at UNC-Chapel Hill, University of North Carolina, and with additional sponsorship from the IUPUI Arts and Humanities Institute, School of Liberal Arts, Center for Digital Studies, and University Library; together these scholars began new series studies of the site of the Forma Urbis Romae in the hall of the Forum and Temple of Peace in the Imperial Fora.
The work at the hall of the Forum and Temple of Peace by creating a new 3-D digital map of the wall surface the FUR was affixed to. [Later in 2024?] after the completion of the work in the Forum of Peace, under the direction of Dr. Francesca De Caprariis, Italian scholars and their peers, began a new high-resolution 3-Dimensional scanning of the fragments of the FUR then held in collection at what now is the new Museum of the Forma Urbis Romae on the Celian hill.
During the course of either the scanning of the hall of the Forum of Peace (2018-19?) and or the actual fragments of the (2024?); although not specifically mentioned in the text scholarly works cited below (Dr. Elizabeth Wolfram Thill 2023, 2020, 2019 & 2018)? Yet, one of the photographs in the project presentations by Dr. E. W. Thill, show who maybe Dr. Riccardo Montalbano? and another scholar photographing what may be possibly a new fragment of the FUR at the Colosseum. This new fragment being photographed at the Colosseum is also being photographed in the specific methods and great technical detail, as the other fragments of the FUR at the museum site.
Likewise, Dr. Francesca De Caprariis, Italian scholars and their peers in 2024, scanned numerous fragments of the FUR, particularly those in the new setting on the floor of the museum. With the fragments were emplaced in relationship to the original overlying map by Giambattista Nolli the ichnographic plan of Rome, the Pianta Grande di Roma which he began surveying in 1736 and engraved in 1748, and now universally known as the Nolli Map.
The fragments that could not be identified are placed in the special storage in the museum. With the new scanning project, several fragments previously not identified, with the new high resolution photography and 3-Dimensional scanning software. Several fragments in storage have now been recomposed, but, still not identified.
As for future studies and research of the Forma Urbis Romae in the museum. Dr. Francesca De Caprariis, Italian scholars and their peers, hope to create a new website on the role of the FUR in ancient Rome; the history of the studies and research of the fragments; and the recomposition of the fragments in a new detailed database / website.

[Più avanti nel 2024?] Dopo il completamento dei lavori al Foro della Pace, sotto la direzione della Dott.ssa Francesca De Caprariis, studiosi italiani e colleghi hanno avviato una nuova scansione tridimensionale ad alta risoluzione dei frammenti della FUR allora conservati presso quello che oggi è il nuovo Museo della Forma Urbis Romae sul colle Celio.
Nel corso della scansione della sala del Foro della Pace (2018-19?) e/o dei frammenti stessi (2024?); sebbene non specificamente menzionati nel testo, i lavori accademici citati di seguito (Dott.ssa Elizabeth Wolfram Thill 2023, 2020, 2019 e 2018)? Eppure, una delle fotografie nelle presentazioni del progetto della Dott.ssa E. W. Thill, mostra chi potrebbe essere il Dott. Riccardo Montalbano? e un altro studioso che fotografano quello che potrebbe essere un nuovo frammento della FUR al Colosseo. Anche questo nuovo frammento fotografato al Colosseo viene fotografato con gli stessi metodi specifici e con la stessa cura tecnica degli altri frammenti della FUR presenti nel sito museale.
Allo stesso modo, la Dott.ssa Francesca De Caprariis, studiosi italiani e colleghi, nel 2024 hanno scansionato numerosi frammenti della FUR, in particolare quelli nella nuova esposizione sul pavimento del museo. I frammenti sono stati collocati in relazione alla mappa originale sovrastante di Giambattista Nolli, la pianta iconografica di Roma, la Pianta Grande di Roma, che iniziò a rilevare nel 1736 e incisa nel 1748, ora universalmente nota come la Mappa di Nolli.
I frammenti che non è stato possibile identificare sono stati collocati in un deposito speciale del museo. Con il nuovo progetto di scansione, diversi frammenti precedentemente non identificati, grazie al nuovo software di scansione fotografica ad alta risoluzione e tridimensionale, sono stati ricomposti. Diversi frammenti in deposito sono stati ora ricomposti, ma non ancora identificati.
Per quanto riguarda gli studi e le ricerche future sulla Forma Urbis Romae nel museo. La Dott.ssa Francesca De Caprariis, studiosi italiani e i loro colleghi, auspicano la creazione di un nuovo sito web sul ruolo del FUR nell'antica Roma; sulla storia degli studi e delle ricerche sui frammenti; e sulla ricomposizione dei frammenti in un nuovo database/sito web dettagliato.
