Buenos aires, 26 de agosto de 2014.- Como parte de los eventos previstos para conmemorar el Año Cortázar 2014: cien años con Julio, la ministra de cultura Teresa Parodi inauguró, en el Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, las muestras “Los otros cielos” y “Los fotógrafos: ventanas a Julio Cortázar”. También estuvieron presentes la Directora del Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes Marcela Cardillo; el Secretario de Gestión Cultural Sebastián Schonfeld; la fotógrafa Sara Facio y otras personalidades de la cultura.
Ambas muestras podrán visitarse hasta el 28 de septiembre, con entrada libre y gratuita.
Los otros cielos está dividida en doce unidades temáticas y se propone atravesar la vida y la obra de Cortázar a partir de su colección personal integrada por material fotográfico, correspondencia, documentación y películas filmadas en super 8, que llega por primera vez al país.
Se exhiben diversos objetos y fotografías referidas a su infancia y juventud, a los lugares donde habitó, además de las tapas de sus libros y obras pertenecientes al patrimonio del MNBA que fueron mencionadas por Cortázar en su libro sobre las artes plásticas: “Territorios”, de 1977. Los textos explicativos seleccionados cumplirán la función de la curaduría que Cortázar hubiera realizado a partir de sus artistas favoritos.

The product, with the help of the best research universities in the country (MIT, University of Chicago, University of California) have been financed by Robert Adams, The State of Alabama through RSA headed by Dr. Bronner, and the Strungmann family from Germany. The Strungmann family also developed the new Pfizer vaccine by their company in Mainz, Germany called Biontech.

Went to pick up some new stuff for the boys today, and thought I'd do a little photoshoot to show off their new tops, and Niwa's new wig.
(I am the total suck at posing though - it took me a good 20 minutes to get them looking half decent and not having anyone topple over. Stupid Luts bodies don't help. >___<)

íntimo - Muestra monográfica de indumentaria tradicional
"ÍNTIMO"
Con este nombre, la Asociación de Coros y Danzas de Consuegra, ha bautizado a la III Muestra monográfica de indumentaria tradicional, que se celebró el sabado 9 de mayo y que en esta ocasión está dedicada a la ropa interior femenina y masculina del siglo XIX y principios del XX.
Prendas íntimas del vestir de la época, expuestas en una pasarela donde se hablará de los tejidos, los usos, las hechuras, las formas de utilizarlos, y las diferentes utilidades según las ocasiones.
Una gran colección de prendas originales de la época, rescatadas en Consuegra y prestadas por diferentes familias, que tras décadas guardadas en los baúles, volverán a ver la luz en esta tercera edición de la muestra de indumentaria.
Invitados están todos ustedes a disfrutar de una velada única, donde retrocederemos hasta el siglo XIX, para entender una forma de vida a través de sus prendas de vestir. Camisas, justillos, corsés, calzones, enaguas, sobrefaldas y toda una serie de prendas originales harán las delicias de todos los que allí se acerquen para disfrutar de algo tan curioso y desconocido como es la ropa interior de un pasado ya remoto. Todo un trabajo de investigación y recuperación que la Asociación de Coros y Danzas "Rosa del Azafrán" lleva constantemente a cabo para conservar unas señas de identidad y un pasado que define nuestra cultura y nuestro pueblo.
Están todos invitados.

Uno de los objetivos más ambiciosos es recuperar y catalogar todo el material gráfico existente en nuestra familia desde 1.915, para después ponerlo a disposición de vosotros, que la historia volviera a sus protagonistas, y los que aún siguen con nosotros pudieran disfrutar con ello. The layers of the cottage have been peeled back to show the materials and the construction process. Clay, most likely mixed with straw and stone, was moulded into the shape of a house and finished with a lime render. The lintil in the window frame is a hardwood and is supported by the wall itself, no pillar in sight. The window would have been finished off with decorative brick and probably been left unrendered to give the impression that the entire cottage was built with brick. Funny that the brick to the rear of the building has long since collapsed while the humble mud is still holding its own.
In the North in the 70s & 80s grants were available to renovate old cottages like this, on the condition that some of the original walls were kept intact. Much of the old rural housing stock in the North is still supported with this type of wall.
