Processes: I compiled the assemblage of fall related items and then photographed it. I then added a sepia tone in Photoshop to create a more warm feeling that is associated with the fall season.

Went to pick up some new stuff for the boys today, and thought I'd do a little photoshoot to show off their new tops, and Niwa's new wig.
(I am the total suck at posing though - it took me a good 20 minutes to get them looking half decent and not having anyone topple over. Stupid Luts bodies don't help. >___<)

Horizontal stringers of fine oxide particles can be seen, parallel to the extrusion direction (horizontal). Under the tensile load, voids have nucleated at the interface between the matrix and the reinforcement particles, and some particle fracture has also occurred. Most voids form on planar faces normal to the tensile load (horizontal), and particularly where stringers of fine oxide particles also intersect the interface. These stringers provide interfacial flaws which may then be preferential sites for cavity nucleation.

Al powder has been atomised and mixed with reinforcement particles. The mixture was tumbled for 12 hours, cold compacted (20MPa), extruded, annealed and then cold drawn (strain=1.64)
Applications
Metal matrix composites (MMCs) offer high specific stiffness which can be retained to high temperatures. This makes them suitable for applications in the aerospace industry. They also offer controlled (or zero) thermal expansion coefficients, good wear resistance and good impact properties.

Eco Design, bellissime poltrone in materiale riciclato.
La seduta che urla è un modello anni 90 con la base in acciaio; recuperata in discarica è stata successivamente ricoperta dal designer di moltissime scimmiette cucite sulla struttura , la particolarità di questa poltrona è che parla! Le scimmiette infatti non sono solo un decoro ma fanno addirittura il loro verso , basta quindi sedersi per sentirsi nella giungla.
La sedia con stracci in pelle ; anch'essa completamente riciclata è interamente ricoperta di ritagli di pelle cuciti a mano sulla poltrona .
Particolarissima la poltrona ricoperta di gonfiabili da mare , sono infatti state utilizzate le orche gonfiabili per rivestire la poltroncina precedentemente recuperata in discarica .
La sedia a dondolo è invece una vecchia poltrona a cui sono stati tolti i braccioli per rendere il design più lineare e accattivante , partendo da stracci per il pavimento verdi acido è stata rivestita tutta la parte di legno .

Alessandro Acerra ha ricavato delle particolarissime poltrone trovate esse stesse in discarica e sfruttando scarti domestici di uso comune ha realizzato 4 originali poltrone tutte completamente fatte all'insegna del riciclaggio e
originalità,sedetevi sopra per credere.Alessandro Acerra è un eco artista illuminato dalla poetica della ciclicità degli oggetti del mondo del eco design e non. LA seduca che urla
La struttura di questa poltrona, con modello tipo anni ‘90, ha una base in acciaio. Il modello è stato recuperato in
discarica, ha acquistato una nuova vita, e poi ricoperto di scimmiette, che sono state poi cucite o bloccate sulla
struttura.Ma la cosa più carina di questa poltrona, è che parla! Le scimmiette non sono solo un decoro, ma sono funzionanti e fanno anche il loro verso! Risultato: basta sedersi per sentirsi come nella giungla. Il suono dura circa 5 secondi e sarà
nuovamente riprodotto quando vi siederete una seconda volta.
La sedia con stracci di pelle
Questa seconda poltrona è anch’essa composta interamente di materiale riciclato. La struttura portante è stata recuperata da
una discarica ed è interamente ricoperta di stracci di pelle riciclati e cuciti a mano sulla poltrona. Il modello è anni
Novanta, recuperato in discarica, e ricoperto di scimmiette che sono state poi cucite o bloccate sulla struttura. Ed
emettono pure un breve verso quando ci si siede. un modo simpatico ed un po bizzarro "ascoltare" la natura e le sue
esigenze.
La poltrona con i gonfiabili da mare
è realizzata con delle Orche gonfiabili non più in grado di essere utilizzate come salvamenti da mare.
La struttura recuperata in discarica in condizioni pessime viene pulita e imbottita,poi viene ricoperta da decine di orche
in plastica a cui vengono lasciati premeditatamente valvole a vista istruzioni del prodotto e manici.
Assicurato l'impatto visivo e l'originalità del design fatto tutto al 100% da materiali riciclati
La sedia a dondolo
utilizza una vecchia poltrona a cui sono stati tolti i braccioli per rendere il design più leggero e contemporaneo
partendo da stracci per il pavimento di un bel colore verde acido
viene rivestita tutta la parte il legno
la morbidezza della seduta e il meccanismo a dondolo della sedia rendono questo
pezzo unico con un grande carattere
tutto all'insegna del recupero e dei materiali riciclati

The layers of the cottage have been peeled back to show the materials and the construction process. Clay, most likely mixed with straw and stone, was moulded into the shape of a house and finished with a lime render. The lintil in the window frame is a hardwood and is supported by the wall itself, no pillar in sight. The window would have been finished off with decorative brick and probably been left unrendered to give the impression that the entire cottage was built with brick. Funny that the brick to the rear of the building has long since collapsed while the humble mud is still holding its own.
In the North in the 70s & 80s grants were available to renovate old cottages like this, on the condition that some of the original walls were kept intact. Much of the old rural housing stock in the North is still supported with this type of wall.
