Nitro stout 6.3% abv
New to me. Contains Marris Otter, Crystal and Black Malts; Roast Barley; Malted Rye; East Kent Golding and Willamette Hops.
Given all of that I am a bit disappointed. There is very little flavour for an Extra Stout and the promised head from the nitrogen did not last more than a couple of minutes. I am glad I can actually find an extra stout at this time of year but I cannot say that, if I had greater choices, this would be my first pick. I also wonder if the fridges were actually working at the private liquor store I went to. Colder would have been a distinct improvement!

Eucalyptus calophylla is normally white-flowered. Trees with flowers of various shades of pink occur naturally, sporadically throughout the range of the species.

This plant is generally known as Corymbia calophylla. I don't recognise Corymbia as a genus and consider it to be a subgenus of Eucalyptus.
What a feeling of peace, excitement, happiness and inspiration all at the same time. We just got married 2 hours ago. =)
Qué sensación de paz, emoción, alegría e inspiración todo a la misma vez. Nos acabamos de casar hace dos horas.

From time to time I set myself the task of taking a number of photographs, within a 24 hour period, with a common theme of one letter of the alphabet.
The Marri or redgum, corymbia callophylla
I've been watching this spectacular Marri Eucalyptus tree (Corymbia calophylla) like a hawk these past few weeks, waiting for the perfect conditions to capture my pre-visualised photos. At 06h30 this morning, I finally managed to get my shots. :)
This massive gum tree is growing in the gardens of the Holy Trinity church in Old Belvidere. It towers above the church and flowers profusely every year at about this time. How could I not include a photo of this tree and church in my book on Remarkable Trees in Urban Knysna? ;)
The best composition is fairly obvious and it didn't take me long to find it. But this tree is so huge that even with my widest lens, I still wasn't able to capture everything in one frame. So instead I decided to shoot it as a multi-image panorama (2 rows of 4 vertical frames)... because who wouldn't? :)

The rainbow lorikeet (Trichoglossus moluccanus) is a species of parrot found in Australia. It is common along the eastern seaboard, from northern Queensland to South Australia and Tasmania. Its habitat is rainforest, coastal bush and woodland areas. Several taxa traditionally listed as subspecies of the rainbow lorikeet are now treated as separate species (see Taxonomy).
Rainbow lorikeets have been introduced to Perth, Western Australia, Auckland, New Zealand and Hong Kong.

Corymbia calophylla, Marri, Red Gum
The Marri is closely related to the Red-flowering gum (Corymbia ficifolia) but is generally much larger, with a thicker trunk, white or pink flowers and larger nuts (fruits). It is found through varying regions in the southwest of WA and as such can tolerate wide-ranging soil types and sites. Flowers arrive in late summer often in profuse and showy displays. The Marri has been used to great effect around Perth; its mature size suiting its use in parks, golf courses and other open spaces.
