saw these guys hanging out at a red light on my way to work this morning. i swear this is in "color", no conversion.
This is #9 in a March photo-a-day project that includes a random challenge each day. Today's challenge... "red."
I like this challenge because it causes me to look at my day-to-day surroundings differently. I took a walk around Westbrook this afternoon (because that is where I happen to work), and I photographed a bunch of red things. Some objects were obvious, some were not so obvious. I wasn't excited about any one photo individually. But, I thought that when they were combined together, they created an interesting group. And, the shadow silhouette of me in "photographer" pose in the background pulls it all together.

This is #15 in a March photo-a-day project that includes a random challenge each day. Today's challenge... "car."
It's awkward taking a photo with one hand while driving a standard transmission, 50 MPH through a residential neighborhood... with the sun in your eyes. Geez!
After seeing my friend Kimmy's avocado tree in her "Up" photo yesterday, I decided to create my own fruit tree. Hence some Cuties hanging from the very bare winter tree in my front yard.
That's quite a collection of toys you have there, Maggie =)

In Russia it's a really big holiday (the Women's Day!), and it used to present some flowers or other gifts for all the women. I've bought these sweet flowers for my son's kindergarten teacher. :)
Greetings to all the women! ♥
In the study, at my parents home, sitting with a cup of coffee this morning.
The last of the daily shot challenge....I did enjoy it for the most part, and will probably do it again. Not now, maybe later. I liked how it pushed me from my usual photography routine, but I wasn't always inspired by the topics, which made it a bit of a chore.

Longish day, but home and relaxing. I envisioned this shot with Kasey on her bed in the background. But, she wasn't being cooperative. She wanted to lay on the floor beside me instead.
This is #8 in a March photo-a-day project that includes a random challenge each day. Today's challenge... "window."
A strange little brightly-painted building on Brown St. in Westbrook, ME. It must've been an ice cream shop or something.
And, in the rainy season, when it's greener, and which will lead you to a third view of this window :-)
So I finally got around to washing a load of newborn baby clothes and hung them on the clothesline. Then it rained. Funny. Or not.
I stole this from someone who stole it from @fatmumslim. Everyone is welcome to join the challenge. Just tag each of your photos with #marchphotoaday.
