nexon made an error (or was it intentional, with poor wording?) that allowed the family entitlement 2x exp to stack with 2x events AND 2x cards, giving many people 8x exp. i took full advantage of it and used my reps to get 45 minutes of 2x, gaining about 45% in a mere 45 minutes. no complaints here.
I saw this maple tree around the corner from where I live on Saturday, but I didn't have my camera with me. I went out to shoot it on Sunday. It's gorgeous. Give it another 20 or 30 years. It will really be spectacular then when autumn comes around.
This is on 23rd Street just north of 30th Road in Astoria.
Mom's rhododendrons have been taken over by maple trees! Once the flowers are finished, I'll give the whole thing a good prune and hopefully be able to cut out the maple trees (and elm saplings, and rogue wild rose branches too). It feels good to be out in the garden, but wow there's a lot to do!
This display in the woods is set up for the Sugar Maple demonstrations. The artwork on the horse is absolutely incrediblely done. Even in the photos it looks real!!

I saw what appeared to be a Japanese Maple tree in a friends yard in North Georgia and it reminded me of the fall colors. I just had to shoot it!
