From my favourite maple tree this morning.

Seed pods

The red leaves and yellow flowers on this maple tree make it look Autumnal orange from a distance.

I like how the orange leaves provide the only real color in this scene. Everything else appears almost black and white, which is the feel of the winter just ahead.

Maples

There are several of these beautiful red maples at Jouken-ji (常堅寺). Just as pretty as the Fall variety!

I love fall, the colors are everywhere.

I did visit an actual tree that survived an A-Bomb in Hiroshima, but it was a eucalyptus, not a maple.
