This tree is obviously older than all the trees around it. Branches have broken off it and regrown almost as separate trees themselves. It's old and gnarly.

Liquid Light on glass
My coating is terrible, because I forgot to heat the Liquid Light before coating the glass. I also didn't apply any kind of prep-coating to the glass, and then had to wash it after exposure to get some paper residue off the back. Next time I'll try for a cleaner surface.
Today was also rainy and cloudy, so the light was very gloomy. This may produce more interesting colors with brighter sun.
Some more leaves from my collection in the fridge. These are (yes, they are) Japanese Maple Leaves collected at the Dallas Arboretum.
They were lit with two studio lights and a large, diffused flash umbrella to only leave a wisp of shadow.
