Entered into Welly camera club :
Certainly an autumnal colour palette ! The abstract element has been introduced here by use of Intentional camera movement (ICM) and/or double exposure . Some people like it, some don’t. I am looking at this image with the view that the author has tried something different and for that I commend them. The thought of a water colour painting left out in the rain springs to mind . For me though, there isn’t the degree of mystery that the term ‘abstract’ conjures up, as my eye clearly identifies the red and russet leaves which tend to dominate the right-hand side. Perhaps ensuring the
central branch/twig lies across the diagonal would offer better balance.
I adore the shape of Silver Maple leaves. This young tree nymph is pensively looking out into our world.
Sculpted using the imprint of a Silver maple leaf and handpainted with the face of the tree's spirit in watercolor, inks, and mica powders. This leaf is translucent and if held up to the light the face is more noticable. (as in the picture) When left in natural light the tree nymphs face becomes more muted.
This is the "red" of an Autumn past.
We are about to go into Autumn again & we are hoping for a brilliant display .

The suns casts its last glows over the city before it sinks beneath the houses and the hills. A chilly breeze shifts in and you lace your fingers through mine, but the leaves of fire offer us warmth and comfort. The trees whisper their last secrets before their bear season.

Close up autumn maple leaf stock , Steve Montana Photography photos and images. Maples are variously classified in a family of their own, the Aceraceae, or together with the Hippocastanaceae included in the family Sapindaceae. Modern classifications, including the Angiosperm Phylogeny Group system, favour inclusion in Sapindaceae. The type species of the genus is Acer pseudoplatanus (Sycamore maple).
