I still don't understand why my brother "enjoys" transforming my photos into some horror image!

This image shows a mirrored landscape that creates the illusion of a river or canyon cutting through two steep hillsides. The original photo was taken during a hike and depicts a grassy mountain slope with scattered shrubs and rocky outcrops.

I Believe (Photo Manipulation) - i have been thinking how to illustrate childlike faith for a long time... until i saw this 2 different photos i took at Paris on the same day... then i know i can put them together to create this little story~~ i'm sure those that understand what it means by childlike faith will able to see the strong expression from this piece of work...

A random photograph of the sky that I've manipulated in photoshop to create this abstract landscape.
So....I tried a multiple piece photo manipulation for the first time ever...I'm....not excited by my really bad skills, ha ha. THe quality is poor because I was just playing around, not planning on taking it this far.
I am aware it has flaws, but I'd appreciate feed back.
All elements came from my own photos or were completely fabricated except the base lantern image which came from giftsunusual.com
Anyway...please don't be brutal but I'd like to learn :)
