A lot has happened in the past year that affected everyone’s lives. We kept the annual fundraiser going, and to my surprise we even set a new record for the amount raised this year totaling over $18,240. I want to thank all the participants who made it possible for us to donate all these sets to kids in need, which meant more than ever in this challenging year.
Unlike in previous years, this year we raised most of our funds through the 24-hour live stream. Using a new fundraising platform on Tiltify, we were able to raise $11,000 through the stream alone. On the other hand, we had notably fewer creation donations and sales, which was our traditional means of fundraising. In 2020 we moved our store from Bricklink to our own website due to Bricklink no longer supporting the sale of custom creations based on licensed themes. We also did a complete makeover of our website to accommodate the move and replaced the look we’ve had for the past 10 years. This change may have played a role in the dip in the donation and sale of custom creations. We would love to hear feedback from anyone if this affected your participation in the fundraiser.
Going forward, we will continue to have the option for people to donate and sell their custom creations, which has always been a staple of our organization in promoting Lego builders to use their unique skills and creativity to give back to the community. We are also looking for more volunteers to help purchase and distribute Lego sets in their local community. So the other day I got a four doll baggie from a charity shop for £2.50. This gal was in it, thought I'd give her a bit of a spruce up, she's really gorgeous.

so while I was shopping I gets a text from my other half saying they are doing makeovers in Debenhams and I should head over. Not sure what she was trying to say!!!!!!!!!!
Well I did as I was told and tried to get the sales girls attention to no avail. in the end I resorted to asking about a colour match. next thing I know I am sat on stool being pampered by a nice young girl who said how good my makeup was ( well they all say that don't they) she then proceeded to demonstrate eyeliner mascara, bronzer, and blusher.
we had a good chat and a laugh so I was really relaxed and enjoyed the whole experience. whats even better it stayed on all day and night I did tone the bronzer down a tad mind.
I have to say the people of Manchester were fab and embraced the whole sparkle thing even more so than in previous years.
If you get a chance, pencil in sparkle for next year. it is well worth the visit and is great for first timers to get out into the real world even if its just the relative safety of the village.
Thought I would give myself a new hairdo.
You would think I had nothing else better to do on a Saturday night.

One of my favorite hotels on Ocean Drive is the Park Central. It is undergoing renovations, which includes an updated paint scheme.

So, I finally got around to giving this bitch a makeover xD Her hair was burned by the previous owner, so I had no choice but to sacrifice all of her hair! xD And, with the help of GagaBratz, I got a wig on her and BAM. She's a beautiful new girl!

LNER Class 4-6-2 A4 pacific No. 60019 'Bittern' disguised as former classmate No. 4492 'Dominion Of New Zealand' at Newcastle Central Station on 16th April 2011.
This profile shows better the features of the 1930s makeover to the A4 that had just taken the 'Great Britain IV' railtour from London Kings Cross to Edinburgh as far as Tyne Yard.
The Garter Blue livery, red wheels and stainless steel plate numbering and lettering on the cabside and main tender together with valences, can be seen here.
The loco stayed at Newcastle station for 30 minutes before heading to the National Rail Museum in York with its support coach - 5Z22.
I Love how she turned out !! I really liked her before, but now she is my favorite Erin ..... don't tell the others...
I removed some of her pointy eye make-up and re-painted her lips to give her a more natural look. I think with the curly hair that 'natural' softens her up!!
I think she's Beautiful!!! I feel like I got a new doll today!
(I'm thinking of giving her a few freckles, but haven't decided yet)

For Pretty Pink Themed Tuesdays (makeover) and Theme of the Week (extreme).
Although I've softened it up in post processing, I actually did cover my face in pink eyeshadow. That's the extreme part and now I need some serious cleansing to remove it all!
