Nice shot following a makeover. Nice new long blonde hairstyle too. Oh, and as always stockings and heels.
"Bold Bangs With Pin Straight Hair"
My Diamondz Vinessa came with messed up bangs, and over time her hair became wavy.
So I decided to basically fix her how she should have been :P
I hope you all like it though ^.^
It has been too long since I last saw Cindy for a makeover! We had a lot of fun - she is the most wonderful make up artist and I loved this look :)
Presenting Fuuko with her new look <3
Actually its an old outfit and an old wig but somehow i never use them together on Fuuko. She looks so gorgeous!!
Not sure if this hair is more suitable for her or the usual braided blonde color? Hmm I am having a hard time deciding. But this wig for sure is waay harder to manage :D
Anyway happy weekend people!

If I had had all sorts of surgical treatments--botox, injections, skin abrasion etc.--and then had a Hollywood makeup artist do his magic, I might have come out looking something like this. After all, I am as vain as any female (more vain than most, I suspect).
But, since those procedures are not in my future, I have had to rely on artificial, digital, manipulations to at least see, via computer, what I might have looked like.
Before: DS US 2012 Classic Special Wedding Edition Doll
(wearing fashion from US Wardrobe & Friends pack same year)
Here's my interpretation of Rapunzel, I loved making Ariel in my own style and had always intended at some point to give this doll a makeover. It's my second doll repaint / OOAK and the first in any paint form of this character (taken in evening after "with Flynn" photos hence different dress). From Jan 2011 I was obsessed with Tangled dolls so much I banned myself from them last year with the exception of "Bert and Ernie." I wanted to do a custom of brunette Rapunzel influenced by my own impression of the character (& having loved the original DS dolls) to try capture some aspect of her personality.
I repainted with acrylics, which surprisingly didn't take long to do and I think there's always the temptation to keep adding more. The thing I tell myself is "no just start something else!" I hardly do much art nowadays compared to when I was a child and a lot of the time I need to "feel" it. The smallest paintbrush I had was a 0 from the 99p shop which is going a bit ratty so had to work with that as best I could for smaller details.
I need to "seal" it but don't have anything at home for that. I use whatever is in my box lol. I've heard Mr Super Clear is good, though no idea how to use it or if I can find it at a shop here. If anyone has any recommendations / tips it would be greatly appreciated. :)
I always loved Rapunzel's short hairdo and wish there was more merchandise featuring it! I really liked how imperfect she was compared to previous Disney girls, like the statuesque Aurora.
Thought it would be a better comparison under the same bright light source & background than using the natural light pic. I use computer to take photos so isn't always focused like a camera would so it doesn't pick up the repainted freckles well.

So as I said we are going over-seas for the rest of the contest, but where are we going? We're going to...... JAPAN! One of the biggest fashion capitols in the world. You girls better bring it these few weeks!

So the other day I got a four doll baggie from a charity shop for £2.50. This gal was in it, thought I'd give her a bit of a spruce up, she's really gorgeous.
Anyone got an ID of her/her dress?
Thought I would give myself a new hairdo.
You would think I had nothing else better to do on a Saturday night.
It was my birthday last month and I needed some makeup so I decided to have another makeup lesson at MAC. If you have never tried it you should! I paid £20 for a 30 minute makeover and you get the £20 back off any makeup you purchase.
The girl actually spent 2 hours with me and I learned a huge amount! This is also the first time I have tried false lashes, but I thought it was worth it as we were going out for a meal and clubbing later!
Do you like the finished look?
circa 1979-80, taken during a makeover at Lee's Mardi Gras Boutique, the second time I'd ever dressed completely as a girl.
5/52 Weeks
For Pretty Pink Themed Tuesdays (makeover) and Theme of the Week (extreme).
Although I've softened it up in post processing, I actually did cover my face in pink eyeshadow. That's the extreme part and now I need some serious cleansing to remove it all!
(cont.) …Why yes, it is! Indeed, as I promised y’all back when this set started out, the rest of the store happily retains its P09 décor, red walls, white neon, and all – it was simply the apparel departments, and the apparel departments only, which were remodeled to that new, overly modern, gray-walled look. That’s a relief :)
This particular shot was taken from the movies and music department (obviously) – another department that’s been getting a modern makeover (and a very substantial downsizing, in tandem) in Target’s remodels lately, in those stores that have been receiving the full P17 décor treatment. Thankfully, that hasn’t been the case in Olive Branch here; and hopefully, that will remain the case, both here and at the other DeSoto County Target store down the road!
While this set wraps up my September 2nd, 2018, pics from the OBT, we’re not done with this Apparel 2.0 remodel just yet – I still have ten more photos to share with you guys, taken on another visit later in September after the remodel was complete. Unfortunately, it’s looking like I won’t be able to share those with y’all until early December (!!) given my schedule, so hopefully you can be patient with me on that…
(c) 2018 Retail Retell
These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)
so while I was shopping I gets a text from my other half saying they are doing makeovers in Debenhams and I should head over. Not sure what she was trying to say!!!!!!!!!!
Well I did as I was told and tried to get the sales girls attention to no avail. in the end I resorted to asking about a colour match. next thing I know I am sat on stool being pampered by a nice young girl who said how good my makeup was ( well they all say that don't they) she then proceeded to demonstrate eyeliner mascara, bronzer, and blusher.
we had a good chat and a laugh so I was really relaxed and enjoyed the whole experience. whats even better it stayed on all day and night I did tone the bronzer down a tad mind.
I have to say the people of Manchester were fab and embraced the whole sparkle thing even more so than in previous years.
If you get a chance, pencil in sparkle for next year. it is well worth the visit and is great for first timers to get out into the real world even if its just the relative safety of the village.
End of a busy evening at the Gamer's Lodge; another get-together with my sci-fi pals. Always nice to see some colourful support from our business owners.
