The color here is really to the extreme end. The purple cast is mostly from the stacking of two cokin GND filters, haven't figured out a good way to remove this yet.

I just did this makeover from a day one avatar and tested many Lelutka heads and skins and finally decided on a look (from a RL picture and put in some similarities and shaped and customized his new look in a few hours later and this is the final product), this one is for the modern stylish White Wizard --

The front quarter panel of a 1959 Chevy Apache pickup. The gold area behind the 'Chevrolet Apache' was originally black and the gold area behind '31' was originally red (from the factory). I do like the gold replacement color that the owner painted over, it stands-out more on the candy-apple red body.

Blythe a Day 1/19/23 Makeover
Found this kid's jewelry box at the thrift store, added some detail with cereal box cardboard and small wooden craft sticks, painted with chalk paint and aged it with brown wax. Still have to add drawer pulls. I've used it a few times for garden room dioramas.
The old nest is being repaired, and renovated.

Last week Kenzie the dog and I decided to check out the recently refurbished covered bridge at Bridgeport. We are happy to report that the bridge looks fantastic in its new wardrobe of timber and shingles.
The bridge dates to 1862 and has the longest clear single span of any surviving wooden covered bridge in the world--pretty cool beans for our little county. The bridge was an important link in the Virginia Turnpike allowing freight wagons to cross the river to take supplies to the mining operations in the California Mother Lode and the Nevada silver mines. It seems funny in this day and age that a small mountain river could form a significant barrier to transportation back in the day. But, I've never tried to negotiate a fully loaded horse drawn freight wagon across a rapidly flowing river during winter either. Maybe I should rent me a team of horses and a wagon and give er a try.

I decided to give my previous dragon a makeover. (Especially since he didn't survive the drive back from BFVA13. ;) ) This version is much more lifelike and far stronger then the earlier version.
A BIG thanks to all who gave such great advice and encouragement in the WIP shots!

Our completed facelift. The bamboo roman shades were added just last night to finish the job off. We could not be happier.

Our makeover was sleeker hair! I talked to jack and a slight curl on the ends was perfectly fine. :-)
I inherited this old Lloyd Loom chair, it was a bit tatty and desperately needed some TLC.
So I gave it a little Makeover with fabric and yarn and lots of love...

I met a beautiful woman(both inside and out), the most beautiful woman I had ever seen since i came to SL, who helped give this noobie a makeover, She made me beautiful too.
