Went and had a makeover on my recent trip. It was a fun time, But not sure that the outcome is what I expected to look like. I learned some good tips and like I said, I had fun

A Painted Turtle shedding scutes
I'd never seen this phenomenon before, and after taking this shot, I did some research.

Coincidentally, just a few days later my friend Oldbeak posted a similar shot taken in CT, and it turned out to be new to her too. I only recently unearthed my pics from the memory card, though.
This past week, I got to meet with Monica Prata and get a makeover, including help with my makeup and finding a new wig! I'm hoping to sneak in some more time this weekend to try and re-create what I learned :).

This doll give me mom on my birthday long time ago.
It was a big challenge of colors. I thought long on this whether to paint a skull to white. Her hair also were a challenge, because I have many haircut for her. I painted her eyes and lips. Finally I'm ready lol.
Many of you compliment my looks and I often try to give credit to makeover specialists like Aejaie, Carla's in San Jose, pictured here IN PROCESS. You gurls know this not easy and I am not capable of doing it myself. That's why you see so many non-face photos. Love you all! Crystal
My first professional makeover at Douglas in Erfurt required some courage but the makeup artist was a nice lady and we had some fun together. Here she made up my eyelashes.
