Spent most of today being a lazy person recouping after my dad's crazy birthday night. Took this last night while I was getting ready.
And thanks so much for all the feedback!

Lamentations’ speech about an absent, abusing God is a blessing, an unnerving but refreshing iconoclasm. It smashes images of a God harnessed to our bidding. It disrupts theologies of a God who makes us prosper in all things, rescues us from every evil, and longs always to be with us. By insisting on honest testimony from the midst of pain, the book takes us to that place of impasse that purges and burns away pseudo-spiritualities and God-diminishing pieties. It invites us into vulnerability where God can be met in what Christians call the Paschal Mystery.

MENDING WALL
Something there is that doesn't love a wall,
That sends the frozen-ground-swell under it,
And spills the upper boulders in the sun,
And makes gaps even two can pass abreast.
The work of hunters is another thing:
I have come after them and made repair
Where they have left not one stone on a stone,
But they would have the rabbit out of hiding,
To please the yelping dogs. The gaps I mean,
No one has seen them made or heard them made,
But at spring mending-time we find them there.
I let my neighbor know beyond the hill;
And on a day we meet to walk the line
And set the wall between us once again.
We keep the wall between us as we go.
To each the boulders that have fallen to each.
And some are loaves and some so nearly balls
We have to use a spell to make them balance:
'Stay where you are until our backs are turned!'
We wear our fingers rough with handling them.
Oh, just another kind of out-door game,
One on a side. It comes to little more:
There where it is we do not need the wall:
He is all pine and I am apple orchard.
My apple trees will never get across
And eat the cones under his pines, I tell him.
He only says, 'Good fences make good neighbors'.
Spring is the mischief in me, and I wonder
If I could put a notion in his head:
'Why do they make good neighbors? Isn't it
Where there are cows?
But here there are no cows.
Before I built a wall I'd ask to know
What I was walling in or walling out,
And to whom I was like to give offence.
Something there is that doesn't love a wall,
That wants it down.' I could say 'Elves' to him,
But it's not elves exactly, and I'd rather
He said it for himself. I see him there
Bringing a stone grasped firmly by the top
In each hand, like an old-stone savage armed.
He moves in darkness as it seems to me~
Not of woods only and the shade of trees.
He will not go behind his father's saying,
And he likes having thought of it so well
He says again, "Good fences make good neighbors

i asked her to pose for me. I cant imagine if i didnt bring strobe... too dark... the prime lens wont help... beside that i want to show the interior as its best...
using strobe is not simple... we have to count in which direction we want to lighting the object...
maybe for you strobist is easy hehe...
for me... its difficult like i do hiking to a mountain...
every photography has its own difficulties... you cant say its more easier than the other...

I haven't been anywhere dressed for a while, mainly due to lockdown, but I have had the odd times when I've been experimenting with different foundation, powders etc.at home, for when I do eventually venture out again. I was trying out the "baking" technique under my eyes here with concealer, beauty blender and loose powder that is all the rage at the moment and followed a youtube tutorial. I'm not sure if its worth all the bother to be honest, I should probably just get some tear trough filler and botox, there is only so much makeup can do! It's my own hair here, plus a few clip in hair extensions for added volume
71/365: Black & white macro of some sugar. Just about the best I could do on a cold-laden, sore throaty, wet and grey 'stuck indoors and not going anywhere' kinda day!
I make images using other photographers photos. All photos are used with the permission of the photographer through Creative Commons. These images were created using Photoshop. I have found that if I can imagine something, I can create it using Photoshop. The Photoshop program is an artistic tool, like a pencil, paint brush or camera, allowing a skilled user to express their creative talent.
These are my nine favorite Black and White images( in no particular order) of the many that I have made in 2014. This set will be followed by my nine favorite Portraits. I hope that you enjoy them. Thank you for visiting my photo stream in 2014.

Isaiah 52:13
Behold, my servant shall act wisely; he shall be high and lifted up, and shall be exalted.
It's time to stop making everything about you. Look for opportunities to give to others.
Today, seek out opportunities to give your energy, your kindness, your patience. Maybe you'll let someone talk to you a little longer than usual about their problems, if that's something that makes you uncomfortable.
Take actions that you know will make other people feel good, with no attachment to the results, no expectations. You're not doing it because you need to look good or be validated. You're not going to change someone's life with these actions. Forget about all that. That's ego. Do it because you need to step out of your world of comfort.
