The Electrolux vacuum cleaner is a vintage quarter bank. I imagine Electrolux gave them out so you could save your quarters to buy a vacuum cleaner.
Barbie's dress Cotton Casuals from The August Sale was in perfect condition EXCEPT for the two penny size dark red/brown stains right in front. :(. First I tried Biz. The blue started to bled, yanked it out, rinsed and then tried bleach with the same effect. My next attempt was to use lemon juice, salt and sunshine. I used that mixture for three days. There wasn't any full days of sunshine. On the third day the stains were gone. The fabric looks a little worn where the spots were yet I am so pleased with results.
