and maybe she won't notice us. This was taken the same night as the beavers. It was real sweet to watch the sunset twins stare in amazement for a few seconds before they took off. Most kayak shooting is often done on the fly, just the way I like it, no time to calculate best anything. I'm just having fun with my camera living in the moment (sticking out my tongue to all perfectionists) :P
P.S I am thrilled my mammogram is stable....I can go back to once a year. Whew, the things woman have to put up with. Flickr tagged my photo with giraffe. Too funny.

This shot is the one that made me realize I'm not in my photo-funk any longer. I was going through a period where I wasn't very confident with the results from my camera.
I usually put the camera away when that happens but this time I tried something different.

Heavy rains flowed down a normally dry stream bed and revealed debris along its newly cut banks.
I found this pristine old Smile soda bottle near where the stream meets the ocean. Embossed on the bottle: "Patented July 11, 1922", but I'm not sure how old this bottle actually is. Anyone know?
