The bible tells us to make the crooked path straight, but when it comes to scenery, making straight paths crooked is much more interesting. This one was on the beginning of our entry into the paths along the river in the woods of Tennessee. It was a pretty lead in.
I didn't have to do much to this photo. The lush, green tones didn't change up much with processing, and about all I did was to enhance the light and make the colors more vibrant. The camera usually washes the color out a bit, anyway, so what you see here is pretty much how lovely it really was there.
Sometimes strange people make magic happen
This mural by Wongi was part of the Rise 2013 Festival in Christchurch. I spoke to Wongi after he met ROA at the Canterbury Museum. I loved the fact that he takes his dog out with him in the back of his custom painted van. I would say that Wongi has done the most legitimate street art in Christchurch.

Music is a huge part of our lives. Anna uses it to cope with stressful situations. Curtis and I use it to relax and to party. Dominic likes to listen to video game soundtracks. Jenny and my mom are music connoisseurs. We have music playing in our house all the time and when we don't, usually one of us is listening through our headphones. I like Apple's earphones, but no one else does, so I've inherited all of them. I have them stashed everywhere! I'm so impressed that such amazing sound can come through those tiny mesh screens and completely change my mood. This particular pair is resting on our Bose Color II Soundlink which also has amazing sound in a small package.
Completed my Adafruit MiniPOV3 tonight. I was able to upload sample code to it, but I'm having an issue with avr-gcc so I can't compile my own yet.

I got Lego Dimensions and the portal pack and it is an amazing game! Batman in Springfield, Chel in the old west, Awesome!
After I played that for a while I got back into portal, and passed the first one in a few hours, so decided to make this little guy because the one that comes with the Portal pack is way too big.

Saw these lovely delicate pink flowers happy blooming in the morning sun. A look at them and it just struck me as if they were askin me to make a wish !
Esp knowing that these flowers themselves donot remain in blossom for more than a day or two, mostly for a few hours !
(... these flowers are better known as 'dupahar khidhi' , translated as 'noon bloom' , referring to the fact that they are in bloom while the sun lasts bright ! )
I almost titled this "fire and fall back", because that was the experience shooting this large elk as he made his way through the trees. He was intent in his stride, but not aggressive. That said, I kept a handy escape route anyway. Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, USA, July 2017

Seeing as I have used my B-day wish on "real life", Grace was kind enough to make our dolly wish for us… I certainly hope it comes true!!
68026 Enterprise waits for the road before departing Huddersfield with the late running 1634 Scarborough to Liverpool Lime Street. The stood still time seemed to be less than a minute making getting a night shot an act of choreographed accuracy.
The station roof is a real feature at Huddersfield very similar to Bournemouth before the rebuild.
Nice lighting added to the atmosphere.
Ticked all my boxes.
