Close to home.
The railway borders the village all along this side. Here it runs along the far side of another of the remaining parcels of orchard.
The foreground was cleared of fruit trees many years ago to make way for a tree and plant nursery. Sadly this venture never really got off the ground and it has remained grassed over ever since.

This is where the Detroit, Toledo and Ironton mainline crosses the Penn Central at South Charleston, Ohio. The DT&I was running from Ironton to Detroit while the Penn Central (formerly the Pennsylvania RR) line connected Columbus and Cincinnati. There were two interlocked tracks, one linking a northbound DT&I toward Columbus and another, that was unused, linking a southbound DT&I to Cincinnati, plus a cross over on the double tracked PC line. This is a view north on the DT&I main specifically taken to capture the order boards. On this happenstance stop I was fortunate to catch both a PC and a DT&I movement.
With the PTC compliance deadline looming, New Hampshire Northcoast sent their GP38-2 No. 3823 down to the MBTA/Keolis for testing. Here, the locomotive leads a 5 car consist with rebuilt F40PH-3C No. 1061 pushing from the rear as they head East through ABS 3.6 in Everett, MA. The MBTA's Eastern Route was an odd place to see a NHN locomotive, but it was chosen due to Green Line Extension work obstructing testing on the Fitchburg Main and New Hampshire Main. For several hours, the crew ran numerous tests between Revere and Salem before they could officially certify the system on the NHN 3823.

181 201 was the last engine of DB painted blue at the time.
She never was repainted red, but surprisingly got a new coat of blue paint in July 2010.
Being in active service until April 2018, she was then given to the DB Museum of Koblenz.
My once published picture once more re-edited.

Your favourite location Tom! That’s an incredible tunnel, particularly given the year when excavated. A ‘celebrity’ loco and well done for capturing this.
