The 105 Freeway near Los Angeles International Airport. Lots of car lights or just magical bokeh??

Shall I talk about the Magical Bokeh Christmas Lights™?
Or do they speak for themselves?
I was unbelievably beside myself every time I photographed them. TOO AWESOME.

Such a perfect sunny warm day in February. I will remember. The birds were singing, and I was listening to their song.
Taken with a Helios 44-2, a Russian art lens that I bought on ebay. At large apertures, it delivers a most magical bokeh.
Through pride we are ever deceiving ourselves. But deep down below the surface of the average conscience a still, small voice says to us, something is out of tune.

Day 111/365 Red Drops
The rain last night made for magical bokeh and colors. Am I the only one who thought the day was weird yesterday? It felt so strange! I loved doing red, it was a lot of fun.

Today was the first lasting snowfall. It was so beautiful (and cold!) but when I walked to school this morning I couldn't seem to find a picture (partially due to the unpleasant and imposing northwest wind). But after another late night at the lab I was able to snap this one on my walk home - I was happy with the magical bokeh!
ISO 800, 1/200 sec, f/1.8
Another beautiful sunny day, and some magical bokeh created through this window, just had to get a photo.
'Magic' for September scavenger hunt.
Nikon SB600 to the left and a SB600 overhead. A reflector to the right. 50mm len f1.8 at to get the Magical Bokeh.
Happy new year 2019!
May all your dreams come true!

Experimental bokeh in manual mode! Thanks to my neighbours across the street for leaving these lights on a tree in their front yard year-round. :) I would have taken more, but it is FREEZING here today and my hands were cold. Another time! Next up: I am attempting this, DIY version: burnsidewriters.com/2009/10/04/the-magical-bokeh-filter/
please please click here to see the magical bokeh!
I've been home for a little more than a week now and I used to have a lot of free time on my hands. That's not quite the case now - I just got a job through a temp agency that will last about a month, working everyday 9-5. I'm pretty relieved they actually found me a job, I've felt like such a lazy bum; but I was able to go out and shoot before I got the job. This, and the picture below, is from a hike I went on - there's this trail near my house that I've never explored so I finally did. It's so peaceful, I'd like to walk it every morning but I don't have the time right now :(
Anyways, to be honest, I don't really know how this picture came out the way it did. I'd like to take credit for the crazy amount of bokeh, but it was an accident. I like this accident, so I figured I would post it.
Dive into a mesmerizing macro view of an underwater world, where tiny, luminous bubbles cling like jewels to textured marine growth, perhaps a weathered barnacle-covered surface or an ancient shell. Bathed in soft, diffused sunlight filtering from above, these ethereal orbs create a magical bokeh effect, dancing in the blue-green haze of the water. On the left, hints of soft, feathery life forms, possibly small anemones or hydrozoa, blur gently into the background, adding to the sense of a vibrant, hidden ecosystem. This snapshot captures a moment of quiet beauty and intricate detail often missed in the grand sweep of the ocean – a miniature landscape alive with light, texture, and the silent ballet of gas escaping liquid.
