For MacroMondays theme "Abracadabra".
Here is my magic wand created from a chop stick and a christmas decoration. And lighted with my christmas lights.
Happy Macro Monday!
Shot with a Pentax K-1000 using TRI-X pushed 2 or 3 stops.
This shot is about 20 years old. It was my first time visiting the Mohonk area, and the fog had just started to lift as we approached the lake. I think I was pushing the film to 1600 maybe 3200. This is a scan from a 4x6 print and all the grain you see is natural, analog film grain.
It was a magic day, and I have many great shots (and memories) from that day.
I can´t even describe how much I love my 135mm lens. It brings so much magic in every picture I almost feel like Houdini.
A little magic anyone? Fav it if you like it! :-)
The only limitation is your imagination.

"Mountain Morning Magic" - taking it easy and experiencing the early morning wonder of a Banff sunrise. Bow Lake.
Imogen instantly felt the magic of this place. It tingled her fingers, thrummed her heart and stroked her hair. It’s power left her breathless to the point that she stumbled… and then it fed her the strength to get back up 🍃

This is my 2nd entry to the CCCXI - Category: Dark Age Illumination
This was built for the Lands of Classic Castle and continues the story about Paul von Brickenstein
They travelled three days, when they reached the mountains behind Toberg. It was late in the evening, and the light was fading away. Then they suddenly saw the enlighted entrance to a cave just about half a mile away. Ramazan bin Tiben told them, this may be the cave they are searching for. And so they climbed up to the entrance.
Inside the cave was an enchanting pulse of light in the water on the ground, that refelected on the cragged walls. Everything was full of bones, even under the surface of the water. Then Paul von Brickenstein saw the treasure in the corner, full of diamonds and gold it was sparkling and glimmering. But there was one problem, Ramazan told them that the cave was cursed, so that everyone coming into it, would stay in there and would never leave. All the skeletons around them have been adventurers who starved to death while being enchanted by the light. Fortunately there was a solution, Ramazan confessed that he is a magician and that he could stop the curse. Even if magic was not that popular these days in the lands of Roawia, the party of Brickenstein was glad not to die in this cave. The gold was shared and packed and then Ramazan started his magic spell. Suddenly it became dark and they ran out of the cave as fast as they could. When they passed the entrance again, the glowing came back, but all of them made it and none was left.
Sliding into Sunday morning from the Montmartre carousel and looking up at Sacré Coeur. HSS!
I haven't been around much and for some reason, I haven't picked up my camera either, but I'm revisiting places we have been... : )
Wishing you a great start to the week !
