Magic exists. Who can doubt it,
when there are rainbows and
wildflowers, the music of the
wind and the silence of the stars.
Anyone who has loved has been
touched by magic. It is such a
simple and such an extraordinary
part of the lives we live.

Keep your eyes wide with hope, your mind curious, and your heart forever touched by the infinite magic that surrounds us all. ❤️

The magic of the winter.
A lonely light in the forests of the bavarian forest.
Gently glittering evening light streaks snow cover, the trees.
They are old trees.
They stand in lonely secluded surroundings.
The way to these places is difficult.
Long the ascent continues there.
You do not know what to expect.
One hopes to experience a winter magic.

The day is done, and the darkness
Falls from the wings of Night,
As a feather is wafted downward
From an eagle in his flight.

Woodland Magic
On Sunday I had a good wander through the trees around the top of Wanfell just as the light was high enough to start filtering through the trees.
I spent quite a while in this wee section of woodland which is in a dip and surrounded by Scots Pines, but with enough space to let the light through hitting the young birch tree with the frost thawing and dripping from its branches.
I like it, but please feel free to leave a comment:)

Magic Dance - David Bowie
You remind me of the babe, power of voodoo
You remind me of the babe
(What babe?)
The babe with the power
The power of voodoo
(Who do?)
You do
Remind me of the babe
I saw my baby
Crying hard as babe could cry
What could I do?
My baby's love had gone
And left my baby blue
Nobody knew
What kind of magic spell to use?
What kind of magic spell to use?
Thunder or lightning?
Then baby said
Dance magic, dance (dance magic, dance)
Dance magic, dance (dance magic, dance)
Put that baby's spell on me
Jump magic, jump (jump magic, jump)
Jump magic, jump (jump magic, jump)
Put that magic jump on me
Slap that baby, make him free

October Magic Pink Perplexion Camellia is named for the difficulty in describing the color 🎨 It is a semi-dwarf plant that spreads to a rounded, compact growth. The soft pink flowers remind one of Camellia japonica's ‘Pink Perfection’❕
Misty forest.
We need to say many thanks to the Japanese government. Most of the trees you see in my Magic Forest Series were planted by the Japanese government from 1895 to 1945(Taiwan was a part of Japan). If not for the Japanese wisdom and care of the wild nature in Taiwan, we can't enjoy and appreciate these trees now.

The first of series I'm working on inspired by hidden places, secret gardens and certain sacred flowers
There’s a particular kind of magic that only reveals itself on a day like today—when the air is sharp enough to make your breath visible, and the world has gone quiet under a foot of untouched snow. Nineteen degrees feels less like a temperature and more like a filter that strips away everything unnecessary. No crowds, no noise, no motion except your own. Just you and the winter landscape, suspended in a kind of peaceful stillness.
The snow itself becomes its own kind of light source, glowing softly even without the sun. Every step is a gentle crunch, a reminder that you’re the first one to cross this blank canvas. Trees stand like sculptures, their branches etched in white. The cold doesn’t bite so much as it wakes you up, makes you feel vividly present.
It’s hard not to love winter when it gives you moments like that—moments where the world feels bigger, quieter, and somehow more honest. Winter asks nothing of you except to slow down and notice. And when you do, it rewards you with a beauty that feels almost private, as if the season is letting you in on a secret it doesn’t share with everyone.
If anything, days like this make you wonder why more people don’t fall in love with winter’s quiet brilliance.

SUNSET ~ Shelf-Cloud ~ Florida Everglades
Palm Beach County, Florida U.S.A. - 6/23/20
I'm going to stay on this 'great-night' for a while, if you don't
mind. I got far too many 'great-keepers' to let them pass and
get buried in the archives. It was the best night of the year
(so far) with its amazing sunset/weather-phenomena and the
shelf-cloud. Only the second shelf-cloud I've ever seen in South
Florida. So bear with me for a little while, and thanks for looking.

*[Honestly, it was 'other-worldly' to shoot-this! Fun!]
*[thick-green everglades-sawgrass of early-summer]
As I sit and witness this extraordinary sunset unfold here in south Texas, with wonderful colors and cloud shapes. I am amazed at natures phenomenal display of colors during "Sunsets Magic Moments".
