While going through my archives I came across this image taken several years back on an early summer morn at Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge on the east platfrom. A doe and her fawn had stepped down into the creek and into our momentary view. I still remember the magic of the moment!
Focus merge, 5 shots of a nice one inch tall mushroom. Walking in the Circeo National Park. This is a magic area full of history and gorgeous nature. A perfect place for the Magic Forest project with autumn mood.

Es war wieder einmal eine fantastische Woche Anfang Juli in den Dolomiten. Nächste Woche geht es wieder in die Dolomiten - diesmal aber mit unseren Teinehmer vom Dolomiten Workshop. Das Wetter sieht vielversprechend aus für interessante Stimmungen. Es soll ja auch etwas Schnee geben! Auch an diesem Morgen im Juli hat das Wetter perfekt mitgespielt und wir durften einen "Wahnsinns-Morgenstimmung" erleben. Wenn Du auch mal solche Stimmungen erleben und fotografieren möchtest, dann wären unsere Dolomiten Workshops im 2018 für Dich eventuell von Interesse. Glass is one of the most difficult substances to photograph; my challenge is to use the reflections in a positive manner so that they add to the image.
I love the 'magic' and sparkle that Christmas brings to a home in the darkest period of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, some glass, lights or candles and there it is...twinkle twinkle...
I always greatly enjoy the refractions too. CHIAROSCURO
