[This is the fourth photo of the Magic Beach "series"]

In case you are wondering, the answer to your unspoken question is NO 😊 I haven't touched those small pebbles. They were left there by Mother Nature (i.e., the sea). I just had to touch the trigger release button...

These photos came as a big surprise to me. I had been at this beach a couple of years ago. This time, the idea was once again to shoot sunset, with the golden light bathing the peaks of the mountains standing on the other side of the fjord.

But, once I noticed some curious rocks and closed in on them, the landscape/seascape planned shots were immediately forgotten.

She is some magic, some chaos, and

a bit of poetry, woven with light and shadow, a whisper of stardust in a quiet night, a song that lingers softly in the breeze.

She dances through dreams like flickering flames, her laughter a melody that echoes in eternity, her spirit a delicate storm, wild and free, a universe contained in a single breath.

Carry a bit of poetry in your heart, for it is the melody that gives life its meaning. Let these elements guide you—creating beauty, fostering resilience, and inspiring others along your journey. ❤️

You don't have to understand…You just have to believe.

Real magic happen there.

After spending what seemed like forever looking for the "Magic Cottage..". i realised i had already been there..... what could be more magic than Monet's house ...?

'Magic Mushrooms' Effective for Severe Depression.

Psilocybin, the psychoactive compound in “magic mushrooms,” is a promising intervention for patients with treatment-resistant depression (TRD) and appears to offer a rapid, sustained effect, new research shows.

Investigators led by David Nutt, MD, PhD, professor of neuropsychopharmacology, Imperial College, London, United Kingdom, collected pre- and posttreatment fMRI data on the use of psilocybin in 19 patients with severe major depression who had failed to respond to conventional treatments.

I have a garden bed that’s all coneflowers. A sea of purple! And the bees love it. At sunset, I step outside and wait for the magic to happen.

Many thanks to Richard Walker for tipping me off about this spiral staircase at the Magic Circle in London. We went along to the Close-up Magic show and I took along my camera. The show was totally amazing, and they didn't mind me snapping away before the start :-)

I've put together a map of spiral staircases in London. If you look at this Google Map you can see the one's I'm aware of. If you've got any that you know of that aren't on the map and you like them added then send me a Flickr mail with the details and I'll add it.

An experience of a lifetime. Gliding with the wind above the landscape of old Bagan at dawn. What an incredible sight to see the sun rising above thousands of small and large temples peeking out between the trees.

The large temple is called Sulamani, built in 1183. It is one of the most important temples in the UNESCO World Heritage Archeological Park and is home to exquisite frescoes. It was damaged by an earthquake the year after my visit with the spire crumbling and crashing to the ground.

I was a bit surprised by the speed of flight, there is hardly a chance to compose, as positions change so rapidly and many shots are not fully focussed ... but no complaints. i shot like mad and luckily still find some gems in the archive even now : )
