Common darter dragonfly sitting on a fence. Focus stacked using zerene.

Supporting the theme of "intended contact" on the Macro Monday group... intention is to show 2 objects interacting for the purpose of performing a specific action - in this case, a reminder on my chalk board to take a macro image and post today.

Another Waterlily macro from a few weeks ago.

I haven't been out recently thanks to some back issues and a lack of interest - hopefully I'll recover my mojo now that my back is fine again!

Hope you like this image!!

Have a wonderful day and weekend everyone!!

I have had this backup battery for my cell phone for 9 months and never noticed that it has all these numbers on the bottom.

Macro of the stigma of a Hibiscus Flower, taken with D200 and Tamron 90mm Macro in 1:1 mode..

For WAAC: Macro

A friend lent me his extension tubes because I don't have a true marco lens. Kinda neat, I'm just not sure if I should be able to get more sharp images...these dried plants are part of a flower arrangement. They are about 5 mm in diameter

Male red mason bee emerging from the bee hotel. First time I've seen one emerging from the nest cell by making a hole in the mud plug. Osmia bicornis

Flor nativa de la sierra ecuatoriana.

I think it's a kind of fungus, but I don't really know.

It's growing out from underneath what I think is an oldish duck dropping. The largest one would be about the size of a pin head.

Took this picture with my new Nikon D750. Really like the camera so far.

This weekend for the first time I found a jumping spider (Sitticus pubescens) in the house. Right in front of where I'm typing now. This pic it's actually on my keyboard (as you can probably tell). It would not stay still though, much more active than the ones I've found outside!

I knew in the Autumn you get more spiders in the house but I didn't know I'd find one of these. Anyone else have them in the house?

Right got to start sorting my stuff for Norway!

PS before anybody asks I didn't bring it into the house!
