Canon 100mm Macro lens with 31mm extension tube and Macro Ring Lite YN14EX
Single exposure shot
Processing Nik Viveza 2
Macro Topcor 30mm, SOOC, wide opened (F3.5). Topcor bellows Type 1 + type 3 almost fully extended. I estimate magnification is more than 10:1.
I did not touched the images, so vignette done by Type 1 bellows and too long extension of them is clearly visible.
An early morning stack of this worn out common blue. Taken last month as it was just warming up for the day.
8 images stacked in Zerene Stacker. Sigma 150mm f2.8 macro: f8.0, 1/50 sec, ISO 1600.
Was out with a mate of mine, Eddie, doing some handheld single macro images
We came across some cool bugs and I passed some knowledge onto Eddie so he can get into the macro game - go check him out !

I had a good old think about what closed or shut - and it occurred to me that when a ringbinder snaps closed it can just about take off your fingers!
Happy Macro Monday everyone :-)
An exhausted bee feeding on sugar water I put out for him. He flew away a very happy chap a few moments later.

As it is raining outside I thought I would have a go at macro. This bee had unfortunately passed away outside on the path.
Focus stack of 36 images taken with Canon 6D, Canon MP-E 65 and MR-14EX flash. Mounted on Manfrotto 454 focus rail and taken using remote switch. Processed with Zerene Stacker (DMap). No retouching done.
Low resolution (small JPeg) images used, not full size RAW processed images - so should be able to improve detail in the future. Not sure if I have the patience for this type of photography anymore though!
