Cutting tool of a milling machine. I would have loved to capture the cutting action of the tool. Problem is that the semester is almost over and there is no activity at the workshop these days.

Stuck sideways in the muck. Well it used to be muck. It's pretty solid muck now.
I found the rest of this machine about a mile away. When this place was abandoned, they had tried to haul it out, but the route was so difficult that it was impossible to do so.

Making some models for the Kreinik booth at Quilt Market. This one uses Kreinik metallic machine sewing thread in stitch stacking techniques for the background "lace", then a digitized design for the poinsettia (Kreinik metallic Gimp threads), and Kreinik's gold ornament frame. I like layering, and it looks rather elegant in person.
A break from trees for a while (well till next week). Flowers embroidered on soluble plastic then applied to background.
