This is actually the Grotto Geyser. It has a look to me that resembles the inside of a washing machine. The water thrashes around inside of it.
Remains of some of the nicer pieces of the history of the Stetler family that were in the house. Most of it was just junk!
The man who was doing the demolition on the house was very methodical about what he did and hopefully the best pieces made it to auction rather than the dump. He was also nice enough to allow us to look through things and buy what we wanted. I was more interested in just taking pictures but now wish I had gotten a few things!

The factory of the future will have only two employees, a man and a dog. The man will be there to feed the dog. The dog will be there to keep the man from touching the equipment.
The dunlin moves along the coastal beaches it prefers with a characteristic "sewing machine" feeding action, methodically picking small food items. Insects form the main part of the dunlin's diet on the nesting grounds; it eats molluscs, worms and crustaceans in coastal areas.
Shiny eggs? Maybe broken balls from a bagatelle or a pinball machine. Why there are so many is a good question. Perhaps it's where pachinco balls go to dei.

Just for fun. Super wide angle shot inside a washing machine. In camera stiching. Retouching in post.

I carry my time machine with me most of the time, it has come in many forms through the years but it is Music. A song can bring back the smell in the room the first time I heard a song play, music can bring back the taste I had with a food shared with music, a song will bring back vivid memories of friends all along the way. A second that crept in the frame is the camera that captures the moment forever.

Hagley is the site of the gunpowder works founded by E. I. du Pont in 1802. This example of early American industry includes restored mills, a workers' community, and the ancestral home and gardens of the du Pont family. The machine shop.
This is my 2" bunny which I used in MM 3 years ago already. I always said I'd give the scooter an artificial light one day. Which I have done now but of course the rules changed so I can't submit it to the group. Please look in comments for the completed version.
A Flickr friend (Hi Ant!) reminded me of the film Quadrophenia and I remembered that two scenes were filmed right next to the building I lived in at the time. I wasn't there (I think) during the actual filming but I remember a later crew talking about the set up of the rain machine for this scene. They always filmed something or other in the area and nobody took much notice. It was a gritty, grimy neighbourhood, perfect for atmospheric films. Sad when they cleared it all up and made it look nice.
There are two scenes which have Jimmy on his scooter (this is where my bunny on HIS scooter came in) on the towpath by the Grand Union Canal, one in the rain and another one where he is harassing a smooching couple. I sort of pulled the two scenes together in the image I couldn't post in MM. It was a lot of fun I must say!. Headlight thanks to a tutorial by Phlearn! I also gave my little rabbit rear view mirrors ! The lights opposite were from a Chinese Take Away so I thought I'd put them in to keep it real and a bit friendlier. The canal was full of shopping trolleys and bikes and sometimes bloated dead animals, so I am surprised to see a barge racing by in the dark.
For the simple image for MM I had to put my rabbit on Blu Tack on a black baking tray in the sink and then I turned the water on. Took a few tries to stop the rabbit from being swept away. Amazingly, the real headlight, which comes on when you press his little tail, is still working! Which makes me happy!!
So, HMM to you! Hope you are having equally much fun today!

"And as soon as I had recognized the taste of the piece of madeleine soaked in her decoction of lime-blossom which my aunt used to give me (...) immediately the old grey house upon the street, where her room was, rose up like a stage set to attach itself to the little pavilion opening on to the garden which had been built out behind it for my parents ; and with the house the town, from morning to night and in all weathers, the Square where I used to be sent before lunch, the streets along which I used to run errands, the country roads we took when it was fine. And (…) in that moment all the flowers in our garden and in M. Swann's park, and the water-lilies on the Vivonne and the good folk of the village and their little dwellings and the parish church and the whole of Combray and its surroundings, taking shape and solidity, sprang into being, town and gardens alike, from my cup of tea."

GHH mining machine underground shovel, when they were introduced in the Monteponi mine, helped to make the work lighter and faster. He wouldn't mind seeing it displayed in a protected area and not exposed to the elements. A machine created to work indoors that ends its "career" outdoors. The most interesting part are the reinforcements made by hand welding along the entire profile of the blade of the shovel. Although not a certainly functional artistic work; this is proof of the mastery and skills that the staff had acquired in working in a mine like this.
