MARCH: The best Easter break I've ever had (even though we spent 2,5 fantastic weeks in South Africa the year before.)! After winning a photo competition me and some of my family spent an unforgettable week on a lighthouse, on an uninhabited island in a stunning scenery. (Looking forward to a similar spring break on another lighthouse in 2014!)
More pictures and stories from that place here.
4. (Top right) Feels like yesterday..
APRIL: Must have been a busy one with no pictures, so I added another one from the lighthouse in March, which I still dreamed of in April ツ
This is how April and spring look like in Norway when I have the time to photograph ツ
5. (Middle left) Walks. The body advances, while the mind flutters around it like a bird.
MAY: Spent our National Day and that weekend together with my husband's sister and lovely kids in another part of the country. Really warm days for that time of year, bringing thunder, rainbows, mist and many cool pictures in the evenings ツ

More pictures from that vacation here.
11. ♤°❃。Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower。❃°♤
NOVEMBER: Many nice hikes in the forest together with my dog and camera. And busy with the first Christmas concerts together with my idol, the talented and famous singer Carola from Sweden.

DECEMBER: Only one day of snow early this month, which me and my dog utilized it to the fullest, in the forest. Many Christmas concerts. One day with blue skies in the end of this month, the rest was stormy and rainy = / But I still had a fantastic Christmas holiday together with my family on the island I'm from.
And more Christmas pictures here.
I have lots to be grateful for in 2013, and I hope 2014 will bring many memorable moments too...even though it starts with me turning 30 ;)

Waxing Crescent Moon on 17 November 2015 over Taipei, Taiwan
In the northern hemisphere, if the left side of the Moon is dark then the light part is growing, and the Moon is referred to as waxing (moving toward a full moon). If the right side of the Moon is dark then the light part is shrinking, and the Moon is referred to as waning (past full and moving toward a new moon). Assuming that the viewer is in the northern hemisphere, the right portion of the Moon is the part that is always growing (i.e., if the right side is dark, the Moon is growing darker; if the right side is lit, the Moon is growing lighter). In the southern hemisphere the Moon is observed from a perspective inverted to that of the northern hemisphere, so the opposite sides appear to grow (wax) and shrink (wane).

In Rogaland county where I live, and in the neighboring Vest-Agder county, they have called the 2nd of February the first day of spring since the old days.
But there's not much that reminds of spring outside. This photo is from yesterday, but it looks the same today. And today is even colder - the coldest day we've had the whole winter.
But the snowdrops (first wild flowers of the year) are here, and the sun is up a bit longer each day - so we're starting talking ; )
The sun have been shining all day. In the old days some said that the next 7 weeks shall have the same weather as this day. Yes please! ツ

Philosophical look to the mind with the symbols.
The human brain, the nervous system presented as the trees.
Light color –positive thoughts, the positive mind
Black color–negative the, negative mind
Grey color – Grey matter – closely packed neuron cell bodies form the grey matter of the brain. The grey matter includes regions of the brain involved in muscle control, sensory perceptions, such as seeing and hearing, memory, emotions and speech.
.......The Negative Mind. Nellie Vin.
Brain reacts more intensely to negative than positive events. Dealing with dangerous, scary, threatening information is fundamental. It's about survival. Life or death? It doesn't get much more fundamental than that..
We get caught in the worried or angry thought, and it doesn't pass by like a neutral thought might. We naturally, and even against our will, give threatening information extra attention the mind when it is producing thoughts that are born from fear and negativity, untruthfulness and denial. It is the recognition of the chatter in the brain that goes on, which is false or self-effacing, that can enable the chatter to stop. . Negative thoughts fixate attention with more stickiness than positive or neutral thoughts. Negative, attract the reverse: illness, loss of money and poor relationships.
