HMM my Flickr Friends 😊 😊 😍
Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Done with the Canon 135mm. I love macro-photography but I don't have the lens for. Well, here, it's not even a kind of proxy-photography, but... It's not that bad either. :) The picture has been cropped, of course...
I love macro photography and close up.
I always think we can find beauty by getting close to subjects. And it is easy to do too. Just get the right focus and depth of field. And you will get the result.
What do you think?
This is just repost of my old archive picture in 2012.
The following is the original story of picture.
We had pouring rain on last Saturday. Finally it stopped in the late afternoon.
I went out and tried to get the hopefully last drops of summer in Vancouver.
Really hope that these are last drops of our summer!!
These are drops on callas leaves in my neighbourhood.
Have a great Monday and great week ahead!

I love macro, I love abstract. Combining them makes me happy! :)
Journey with me and my macro lens deep into a Milkweed flower and discover this amazing orange and black beetle.
When you get down onto the level of the little creatures like this, everything changes and you see the world in a whole new light!
One of the many reasons I love macro photography...
a day full of magic! What do you wish for with all your heart? your dreams can come true, go for it now! Its time..you will be blessed. Trust the universe and the full moon tomorrow <3

I took this in Feb 2007, at a nearby nursery. I was a newbie then and didnt know much about photography - only that I was falling in love with it.
I remember wanting to take this blue flower home, but dad said that these are short lived and cant resist intense heat.. I've loved blue and purple flowers the best and still do, so adding this to my photostream, to share with you all.
Have a happie weekend!
And... one more before I return to my true love, macro photography.I promiss you that the colours will come back as well ;-)

Crazy Tuesday: a crazy macro/or close up (Trying to keep these sprinkles all together was driving me a bit crazy as these wayward ones certainly had a mind of their own...)
Thanks for your visit! HCT!
A dandelion seed with a droplet of water in the centre, there was no artificial intelligence used to create this photograph just a little bit of photography and care.

American Copper(Lycaena phlaeas).
The American copper butterfly, especially the males, are by far the most active of all butterflies! It is cute how they tend to chase away anything (including shadows) that comes in way or around its territory.
Catching a glimpse of this butterfly will bring a smile to your face and remind you why these creatures are lovely and captivating.
