Lost Property. Random, small, but interesting items that might be left on a bus, forgotten on a train, abandoned on a park bench or picked-up in the street and left on a wall in hope of the owners return.
The one thing I've noticed about Eastcote High Street is that when somebody loses something like a hat, glove, shoe or a little bag, people pick it up and tie them to posts or benches or railings where they're highly visible, I guess in the hope of the owner passing by and being reunited with their lost article. Quite sweet really.
The signs are there: her name is Poppy and she's "covered with white bits". This sign is nearly four months old: I hope Poppy is in rehab now.

Spent the whole weekend trying to find this lost dog's home. I found her chasing cars and feared she might get hit.
So, I took her home, spent a sleepless night listening to her bark, and wondering how angry my own two dogs were at me for disrupting their perfectly good lives by bringing this young, full-of-energy, bundle of trouble.
I was putting out "Lost Dog" fliers this morning when I got the call from the owners. Her real name is Daisy, she's a Great Dane-Pitbull mix. (My name for her would have been Nicki (for St. Nick) - since I found her so close to Christmas).
Now, that she's in her own home, I'm off try to make up with my own two dogs by taking them to dog park.

Chile lost to Brazil 3-0 , but the celebration went on , Commercial Drive is World Cup central in Vancouver and everybody knows what REAL Football is (not the US fake played with the hands game)
While driving by the YMCA on the north shore of Oahu, there was a (what we though) was a movie scene. It turned out to be the scene for the pilot episodes of "Lost"!!!!! Some of the extras were saying how they had to film when it wasn't raining. it rained practically the whole week I was there!

I just got the Sony HVL and I'm learning alot. Its a great piece if you have the buck. Much better than the quantaray flashes I was using.

I decided to take this photo with my Style of shooting in mind. I like a strong Foreground, I think the dead Brand does justthat. I think it adds a little "ME" to the photo. I made this photo from 2 images. It was made like a vertorama then cropped to this 2x3 format. I made the Vertorama because I wanted to be sure I had Sharpness from the foreground through to the background. I was able to do so using the Vertorama Method.
