Some say the object of longing might never return. But I'll stand here and wait as long as it takes. Because I believe it will come back and sweep me up off my feet.

Brittany. River. Bored of this yet? Hope not, there's more to come still :)

This is the first one I've actually edited into b/w. Which if you know me...thats an oddity.

This photo has been cropped to position the source of light at the upper right corner of the frame. I thought it imparts a sense of out-of-reach-ness…

It seems to me we can never give up longing and wishing while we are thoroughly alive. There are certain things we feel to be beautiful and good, and we must hunger after them.

Longing for Spring!

It's end of November. I've gone back to some photos taken last Easter. Somehow they have brightened my rather dark day :-)

It's the first time I have experienced with color popping and this coltsfoot (hestehov / Tussilago farfara) from Funkelia (Kongsberg, Norway) was a great subject for the experiment :-)

The photo is part of a Flowers - Coltsfoot (Selje) set.

Those deep blue eyes stare at me,

calling my name, i am being pulled in, as I gaze at the blue, my breath is lost.

Once again those blue eyes are in my head, the more I look the more I see an ocean, a breeze carrying me in, they are huge.

The blue eyes in which my angel has makes me feel like im spinning on air.

The blue begins to fade, my eyes get heavy, the blood is coming back to me.

I wake up, calling those eyes, I scan the field, my eyes finally meet my angels eyes.

Longing moment initiates here...

Directed by Jack Winget, a joyfully restorative tale set amongst the wine, wisteria and Mediterranean sunshine. Longing to get away from the malaise of post-WWI London and the stasis of their respective marriages, housewives Lotty and Rose are enticed by an ad in the paper that reads, "Small castle on the Mediterranean, Northern Italy. To be let for April. Cook, gardens, ocean view." Impulsively, they rent the Italian villa, recruit two very different English women to share the cost and plan their escape. All four women dive into the experience of a lifetime, shed inhibitions and blossom anew - rediscovering themselves in ways they could never have imagined.
