Calm and thoughtful, this scene crossed my way in Friedrichshafen (Germany). And I like it so much, so it even made its way into the next calendar.
I'm back from my vacation since about a week now. I had a very good time visiting my family in South Dakota and New York State again. This was not my first time, as some of you know. Slowly I'm adjusting to my "old, new" place here. I look forward to go on this trip again and take all of you with me in the next weeks.
I really miss being there. That's why I will start with one of the last photos I shot there. In Tonawanda, NY I also had the chance to ride a bike. I got to explore among other things, the Niagara River. You will see many more pictures from my evening rides there. This was my last evening. And I think the sky just works for me, expresses exactly my feelings and makes it look even more wistful.
I so love this shot .. there is another one similar which i will post later inshalla .. it has a lot of meanings.

For 5 days of every week, I am filled with intense longing. As I sit at my 9 to 5, I can't help but think about photography, painting, blogging, sketching, and my Etsy shops. I itch to get home so I can release my creativity. Sometimes I even want to break into a sprint on my way home.
Ironically, once I get home, cook, eat dinner, and relax a little, I'm too tired to do much of anything. How long can this go on?
