The fortress of Deva is located atop a volcano in the Poiana Ruscă Mountain Range within the Western Carpathian Mountains of Romania. The fortress is connected with the foot of the hill by an inclined lift which allows tourists to reach the fortress.

Its construction began in 2004 and it was elevated to the status of a Minor Basilica by the Holy See in 2014. One of its great distinctions is that this masterpiece was sponsored by descendants of the Brazilian Imperial Family, adding a touch of nobility and history to the site. Furthermore, its bells come from the renowned French foundry Fonderie Paccard, the first of their kind to be installed in Brazil. A setting of faith and royalty that provided me with these unforgettable snapshots.

Located near the beginning of the out and back hiking trail. Much of this bamboo is huge, thick and tall. Don't know if it's a traveling stand or if it was planted a century ago. Southwestern Ohio is known for have a number of wild stands of bamboo.
Scollis mountain is located southwest of Patras and west of Mount Erymanthos. It is also referred to as "Portovuni". "Portiano" or "Santamerianiko" from the villages located on its slopes (Portes and Santameri respectively), while in the Iliad it is found as "Olenia stone". "Neraidotropa" is also located here, a deep cave chasm on the rocky slope above the village of Portes, below the ridge, which has fueled the popular imagination with many myths and legends.

Located in a very picturesque area of the county, Windsor Mills Bridge spans Phelps Creek, a tributary of the Grand River. Built in 1867, the Town lattice sits atop cut stone abutments with unique center supports. One is of sandstone quarried nearby. The other, in contrast, is made from creek stone. Windsor Mills Bridge is also listed in the National Register of Historic Places. This bridge was renovated in 2002-2004 and was once again opened to traffic in the spring of 2004.
Located next to the Augustus Ayers mansion, this beautiful house at 906 W. State St. was constructed in 1892 for Walter & Mary Abigal Farrell Ayers. The architectural style of the house is American Queen Anne with Eastlake detailing. Walter Ayers was a prominent figure in Jacksonville, involved in banking and community activities.

Located in the Convent of Saint Agnes of Bohemia (Klášter svaté Anežky České), located in the Old Town, Prague, in an area called "Na Františku". It was founded in 1231 by princess Agnes (later known as Saint Agnes of Bohemia), sister of King Wenceslas I. She herself became the first abbess of the monastery in the Order of Saint Clare. The first women came to the convent in autumn 1233 – five nuns from Italian Assisi and seven Bohemian noble-girls. They belonged to the Poor Clares (also called The Order of Poor Ladies) founded by Saints Clare of Assisi and Francis of Assisi in 1212 on Franciscan principles. This was the first convent of the Order of Poor Clares north of the Alps.

St. George monastery in Ubisa
Ubisa St. George monastery is located close to the main highway that runes all across the country till the Black Sea shore. It stands on the slope descanting toward Dzirula riverbed. The monastery was founded in 20-ies of IX c. At the insistence of the King of Abkhazs Demetre II this place has been selected by St. Grigol (Gregory) of Khandzta, famous clerical and founder of many monasteries and save heavens in southern Georgia. A rather lengthy single-nave temple faced with gallstone slabs is the main construction of Ubisa monastery. It is contemporaneous of St. Grigol Khandzteli. The construction is rather simple with shallow wall in the interior and triangular decoration arranged just over the sanctuary window from the outside – the only adornment of the monastery exterior (besides the mentioned decoration patterns, there are several slabs with inscriptions, performed within the fretwork frame, or on slabs with images, for example of a lion). Columned iconostases in the church interior – on of the best samples of architrave iconostases in Georgia, also seems to be of the initial times.
Later on chapels were attached to the large main hall of the church from three sides. The western one with the configuration of domed church in the most noteworthy of all three annexes, where the ossuary of the late-time owners of Ubisa – the noble house of the Prince Abashidzes was arranged. In XVI c. one of the representatives of the same House, someone Demetre built another attachment from the west, richly adorned with fretwork. Wall painting preserved in the interior of the church is one of the most precious adornments of Ubisa monastery. The XIV c. paintings performed by the artist Gerasim, apparently representative of the local artistic school is one of the best samples of so called Palaeologus style church painting. All painting icons, two of which are with doors, coupled with a range of plea icons – integral parts of the iconostas, ordered by someone Bablak Laklakisdze should be contemporaneous to wall painting as they reveal strong closeness to it both artistically and principally (the icons are currently exposed in Sh. Amiranashvili State Museum of Art of the National Museum of Georgia).
There are several other buildings on the territory of Ubisa monastery with different degrees of damages. The residential tower is the most important of them. According to the construction inscription curved on one of the stone slabs Svimeon the archbishop of Chkondidi built the tower in 1141. This fore-storied building contains the residential area (with a large fireplace and a dressing/rest room) a shrine and a square for training and contests. This construction faced with gallstone slabs and with the exterior adorned with brickwork arcades or hoops is one of the best and perfectly preserved samples of Georgian medieval secular architecture.

Weikersheim is located along the so-called Romantic Road.
The palace was built in the 12th century as the first seat of the Lords of Hohenlohe.
In 1586, three brothers divided the protestant part of the county of Hohenlohe, with their main seats being Weikersheim, Langenburg and Neuenstein. The following year Wolfgang, Count of Hohenlohe-Weikersheim, moved here and reconstructed the medieval castle into a Renaissance palace.
When Count Carl Ludwig inherited Weikersheim in 1709, he began to redecorate the apartments and gardens in their preserved baroque forms. When he died around 1760, his lands were divided between the Langenburg and Neuenstein branches. After World War II, Gottfried, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg, invited his cousin, Prince Constantin (1893-1973), an artist, to live in the castle and the latter restored it to its old glory. He also organized operas and concerts. After Langenburg Castle was heavily damaged by fire in 1963, Prince Kraft was forced to sell Weikersheim Palace to the state of Baden-Württemberg in 1967.
Today the palace is a museum.

Located not far from Yalta, the Nikitsky Botanical Garden is a real outdoor museum, one of the most unique landmarks of southern Crimea. This man-made park is recognized as a masterpiece of landscape art and is one of the oldest and the most famous botanical gardens in the world. It is rightfully called the ‘green treasure’ of the peninsula: unique types of plants from all regions of the planet are gathered on the garden’s huge territory.
Nikitsky Botanical Garden’s history began almost 200 years ago, in 1812. It was created on the order of emperor Alexander I in order to develop gardening and farming in the south of the Russian Empire. The founder and the first director of the Garden, prominent botanist Christian Steven, brought together samples of plants from different regions of Europe, Asia, and America. Today, thanks to his large collection of rare species, breeds, and forms of plants, the Nikitsky Botanical Garden is one of the most picturesque attractions on the peninsula.
The park is famous in the whole world first and foremost for its unique arboretum. On 40 hectares, trees and bushes from different continents grow together, forming a unique collection of plants.
В 1811 году по Указу Императора Александра I был было принято решение о создании Императорского казённого ботанического сада. Не удивительно, что местом для его возведения был выбран именно южный берег Крыма, так как климат и близость моря создавали наиболее благоприятные условия для культивирования разнообразных растений, несвойственных здешним местам. В то время сельское хозяйство Российской империи нуждалось в научных разработках и нововведениях, поэтому Никитский ботанический сад стал центром его развития. Датой рождения Никитского ботанического сада считается 1812 год, а первым его директором стал биолог Стевен Х. Х. Именно тогда начали развиваться новые отрасли сельского хозяйства, такие как: виноградарство, субтропическое садоводство, декоративное садоводство и даже эфирномасличное растениеводство.
Здесь можно найти множество хвойных представителей растительного мира, таких как кедр, сосна, кипарис. А если говорить о цветах, то, например, тюльпанов здесь 150 видов, а розовая коллекция достигает двух тысяч. Интересно то, что растительные культуры привозились сюда из разных уголков земного шара. Здесь можно встретить растения из Азии, Калифорнии, Кавказа, Новой Зеландии и даже Африки. Все они успешно акклиматизировались на землях Никитского ботанического сада.
