The El Villar reservoir is located in the lower reaches of the Lozoya river, in the Sierra de Guadarrama (Community of Madrid). It is the oldest in operation in the entire region and in the entire Canal de Isabel II reservoir system, a network that supplies drinking water to the capital of Spain and a large part of the Community of Madrid.
It was completed and inaugurated in 1873 as the highest dam in Spain, although it has already been surpassed. Over the course of more than a century it has undergone various renovations and is still in service today.
In 1911 the El Villar canal, then called Canal Transversal, was put into service, through which water could be supplied to Madrid, taken directly from the reservoir. Various perimeter canals were built on its banks between 1916 and 1934 to improve the quality of the water that could be supplied from this reservoir (Wikipedia Source).

Palazzo Mincuzzi located on one of the main streets of Bari and it is owned by the merchant family, the Mincuzzi who inaugurated their studio in 1928.
Located in the Napoleonic quarter Murat on the corner between Via Sparano and Via Putignani, its project, in delicate and refined Style Liberty, is due to the architect Aldo Forcignanò, who conceived an effective and extremely scenic corner solution.
The façade of the building is made up of a succession of columns, beaded pilasters, Ionic capitals, masks, and, above, there is the monumental family banner. The interior, one of the most striking examples of Southern Italy Art Nouveau style, includes a monumental staircase and it is all illuminated by the glass dome that dominates the building.
Over time the Palazzo Mincuzzi has become the symbolic place of Bari and one of the most prestigious shops in Bari. In 2001, however, the Mincuzzi family decided to close an era and rent its building to the clothing company of Luciano Benetton.
After the change of ownership, many people feared the distortion of what for all the Baresi had always been a symbol of a history of trade and cultural exchanges. However, on the building, the Superintendent of artistic heritage has supervised and still supervises: the external and internal architecture has remained intact, absolutely respectful of the Art Nouveau style.
Noudar Natural Park is located in a farm estate called Herdade da Coitadinha, between the rivers Ardila and Múrtega, in southern Alentejo (Portugal) .
The pastures surrounding the area, holm oak and olive groves, grazing cows and herds of black pigs are all common to neighbouring farms in this region. But here, a more abrupt and rocky relief has protected dense enclaves of holm oaks and forest where light penetrates with difficulty.
In Noudar, life presents itself in a state of wilderness and absolute purity.
Apart from its beauty, the place, being remote and exempt from any light pollution, is excellent for astrophotography (the best where I’ve ever been).
The Castle of Noudar dates from the early 14th century (finished in 1307), when it took an important role for border defense against the kingdom of Castile (now part of Spain).

Located three blocks west of the Illinois State Capitol Building is the Sargent Office Building, home of the Illinois Municipal League (IML). The building is named for A. L. "Lon" Sargent, who served as executive director of the IML from 1943 to 1968, and his son, Steven Sargent, IML executive director from 1968 to 1989.
This beaux-arts style office building was completed in 1912 and, until the early 1930s, was the clubhouse of the Sangamo Club, a private dining city club for business, government and community leaders. The Illinois Municipal League first established offices here in 1935, and has owned the building since the late 1980s.

The visit was planned to take this photo but when the camera was ready to take photo the atmosphere got filled with beautiful white foggy clouds and nothing was visible after 5 meter of distance. It was disheartening and disappointing but later in night the sky got clear for very small period of time and this photo was taken.
Photography needs patience and patience gives you good result.

The bridge Gretsi is located below the village Palaiopyrgos at Pogoni area in Epirus. It bridges Gormos river at Gretsi place. It was a passage for the locals who used it to go to their fields and the mill.
It has three arches, acquired to the rocks. The big one bridges the cliff that is located directly underneath it and the water creates a waterfall!
I found myself in the area of Palaiopirgos in November without having it planned. It was in the evening and I had just a little time until dark. Arriving at Paleopirgos there was absolute wilderness. There was no one to ask for information and I was just standing out of the car waiting for the ‘deus ex machine’. And he did come in a farm truck. He informed me that the access was impossible for that time. Approaching it with my own car was difficult due to bad road and hiking was a dangerous case because of the sheepdogs of the area. I decided to leave and come back better prepared at the earliest opportunity. Eventually not only did I see the bridge but I also photographed it. A big thank you to Christos Mentis from Kefalovriso , Pogoni for taking the time to guide me to the bridge.
Castle Doorwerth is located on the banks of the Rhine River, between Wageningen and Arnhem. The castle’s immediate surroundings are beautiful; it is located at the point where the steep wooded lateral moraine of the Veluwezoom merges into the broad floodplains of the Lower Rhine. In between the two geological areas lies the beautiful medieval castle, surrounded by abundant moats. The castle is mentioned in historical documents dating back as far as 1260, making it one of the oldest castles in Holland.
The oldest tree in Holland
Since 1280, the castle has grown to become a picturesque complex of buildings with a ward and an outer ward. During the Second World War, the castle suffered major damage, and after undergoing restorations for a period of 37 years, it is once again the beautiful water castle it used to be.
One of the oldest trees in Holland is also located on the Castle Doorwerth grounds. The trunk of the Robinia (acacia) tree has a circumference of seven meters (almost 23 feet), and was planted around the year 1600. Two similar trees were destroyed during the Battle of Arnhem.

Located in the altitude fields of the "Serra da Bocaina", the "Casa de Pedra", as it is currently known, was built by Dr. Lassance, a resident doctor from Rio de Janeiro, in the beginning of the 20th century and its apogee in 1914.
Once ready and decorated with the richest imported refinements, the house was not much to the liking of his wife who was not interested in the patrimony.
The abandonment and vandalism were destroying the beautiful building that is now in ruins, and today is only a reminder of the golden days of "Bocaina".
