Lobster head. This was my first test with my ring flash. I use the Ray Flash, which is an imitation ring flash that uses mirrors and requires no power. It's great! Almost all the photos taken in this set use it. topproductreviews.com/electronics/camera-flashes-reviews/...

We are a group of students who participate in FIRST LEGO Lego League. This year our challenge was to investigate the ways in which our community is impacted by climate change.
Our research project focused on the Maine lobster. We learned that calcium carbonate is necessary for a lobster to grow a healthy shell. The lobster industry in Rhode Island suffered greatly from spots that appeared on lobster shells. Scientists believe the spots may be a result of climate change and the increase in ocean temperatures. The acidity levels of oceans may also be increasing due to climate change making it more difficult for the lobsters to grow strong healthy shells.

We found a patch of lobster mushrooms growing at the edge of the day use picnic area! It was so cool to finally see some in the wild! We didn't eat them, but they DID smell a little fishy, so I am pretty sure they were the real deal.
