some of the best fish and chips
I have ever had served with a big smile
Lobsters boiled in Court Bouillion
Lobster marinade (Keller's inspired):
- onion, celery, leek, chives, flat leaves parsley
- I want to as whole to give the "dragon" feel for the year of dragon as the chinese name for lobster is "dragon shrimp"
- so I cut into pieces in the lobster tail leaving the back (red skin) attached so from the surface it's still as whole, but the dressing get absorbed from the belly side. Similarly done to the claws.
salad:
- apple, cherry tomates, cucumber, green onion, watercress, cilantro, avocado, endive
Dressing:
Olive oil, fig and balsamic mustard, honey, salt & pepper, champagne vinegar, lime juice
Lobster Tail with cheese cubes inside the bag

Columbus Lobster Dinner Cruise is one of Cancun’s most famous night tours. It is a tranquil trip through the romantic and mild waters of the Nichupte Lagoon on our Spanish Galleon Columbus. The trip has been especially planned to share magic moments with that loved person… the lagoon would never reveal the secrets kept in this trip as in the heart of each other. Delicious surf n’ turf or lobster dinner with the finest wine is completed with the sweet notes of a saxophone.

Photo by Nathaniel. This was his special friend lobster and he asked our waiter to make sure that no one attacked or ate it.

Lobster are mostly found in rock edges, coral heads, and thick vegetation .The lobster travels forward by walking in a slower manner and when it get scarred, it bend its tail and moves backward in a rapid speed. It is hard to catch lobster in large numbers but their larger size can yield a profitable catch. To know more details, visit at storify.com/oliverlockwood/different-techniques-to-catch-...
This lobster roll was almost as good as the ones you get in Boston.

I know it's Bar Harbor... but...
Lobster ice cream?
Think Outside the CLAW?
I tried a sample.
I think NOT!
Ben and Bill's Chocolate Emporium - from Wikipedia:
In 1983, the stores introduced ice cream to their products. The Bar Harbor location began with sixteen flavors, adding more as demand dictated. Today, that location has 64 hard-serve ice cream (including a lobster flavor, introduced in 1988) and twelve gelatos. The Bar Harbor location, at least, also offers vegan ice cream. The lobster flavor was created as a joke after a challenge from a customer, but it remained on the menu. It is made by folding chopped, cooked and buttered lobster meat into vanilla ice cream.

Very odd lobsters, slipper lobsters are.
According to wikipedia, "despite their name, they are not true lobsters, but are more closely related to spiny lobsters and furry lobsters."
... why are those also called lobster, then? O_o
A wine made specifically to be paired with lobster and shrimp. A quite useful bottle to have in Maine. It's 100% Muscadet from, coincidentally, Sèvre-et-Maine.
(Other wines in the series that were being sold at that Hannaford were "Chops & Burgers" and "Salmon & Trout".)
These are lobster eggs. Shot underwater, affixed to a lobster that was briefly held up (and unharmed) by another diver. You can actually see the developing larvae within the eggs. Shot with a 100mm macro lens, one strobe and a splash of fill-light. www.facebook.com/shureunderwatermedia
