When I read the prompt this morning I thought, 'oh good, this one will be quick and I can catch up on housework!' (anyone else's house getting junky already?) It actually ended up taking forever!! This was sooooo hard for me. I like the LO and the challenge was fun, but it's so not me. I had to stop myself many times from adding more layers. I laid stuff on top but I put them away quickly before I caved and stuck them down LOL!!
I love these pics!! I do have to say that even with the template, it took me a while to do this one!! heehee...

Double dipping today. This is for Week 3 of Dimensional Design at BPS. I used an old Coordinates Collection kit with SEI papers. Inspired by Stacy J's blog post.
This was a fun one to do. Just realized I didn't finish the journaling. Anyway this was 72-76 as a 10-15 yo. I remember buying the teen mags. It was cool to have all the posters all over my walls. Thanks for looking.
There where no actual sign on this particular place, but the phrase poped up in my brain when I saw the picture

It's really a Tradition since Mr. Chartrand bought it but like most of the village I can't get out of the habit.
This a new neighbor at my scrapbook store. That counts, right? I met Lei last national scrapbook day. We have become great friends. She makes cropping happy for me.

Yesterday was time to generate ideas, renew concepts and learn to be better.
Photo of my mom and her brother and sister who are twina. Used few embellishments but the paper squares really add to layout. I just used them like a quilt and drew dots around them for emphasis. The flowers are from a digital kit which I printed on sticker paper and cut out - same for the "family" title. I did decide on the left hand border as it seemed to need something else. I glued a fine strip of beads along the length. Each style of photo seems to call for it's own set of embellishments and I thought these fit quite well.
Here she comes,
camera on hand;
smile, look happy,
look right at the camera.
She will call my name a few times,
take a few shots and
once she is satisfied she will walk away.
It's hard work being an adorable little guy
but I gotta keep mom happy!
