These are funny pictures of my kids in a wig! LOL :) The journalng prompt (everyday you) is borrowed from Cathy Z. This went up really quickly because of her prompt.

Dubai Day 8 - This was a busy day first went to see some sailing dowes and loading docks. Then nearby was the Dubai Gold Sook so went there, you couldn't walk 5 metres with out someone asking you to buy a copy watch. But went to a fabric Store and got Jules an African style hat to cheer him up! Then went to the Dubai Mall to see if we could go up the Burj Khalifa (the tallest building in the world!) but we would have had to wait 7 hours and pay 4 times the price of a normal ticket to go up the same day, so we didn't. But still got to see it and overall was a good day fitted lots in!

I didn't follow the prompt today. This is a Basic Grey page of the month kit, adapted to 1 page. It's BG Life's a Party, and the pics are from a day trip to London in 1996!

Is it possible to use the words "mojo" and "scrapbooking" in the same sentence? Well, I am... I have officially gotten my scrapbooking mojo back. Oh, yeah! It only took half the month, but I'm back, baby.

I didn't have time to listen to the audio today but I did peruse Stephanie Howell's blog for a layout to lift. I quickly noticed that, while I admire her style, I could not copy it. Then I saw one... and after some alterations... here it is!

Digital. Needed another quick page for another busy day today. I've had this idea in my head for a long time. So I finally got it down on "paper." It is a 6x6 layout for my personal scrap-journal.

ONE MORE DAY.

Thank goodness. I'm ready to put Photoshop away for a while. LOL

Pretty simple one (although took me longer than some of the more "complicated" ones!). Was going to do another LO I have in my head, but didn't have the time to gather the stuff I wanted - that's one of the things I love about this challenge - I have all these LO ideas percolating in my mind, so hopefully I can keep up the momentum after it's over!

This is a pretty faithful lift of Write Click Scrapbook's Celeste Smith.

Thanks for looking!

Dump trucks preparing to load for a trip to the Environmental Management Waste Management Facility. This landfill in Bear Creek Valley is northeast of K-25, and is accessible by a "haul road" so that trucks are not on public highways.

With the loading tower rising above, No. 3 departs Stassfurt with a train of limestone for the sodaworks. The conveyor, top right, heads over the main road to the limestone quarry.

I found some fun free elements/items off of the Two Peas in a Bucket website. The design is mine (didn't use a template) but the "paper" and "embelishments" are from Brandy Buffington's Holiday Party collection. The Happy New Year overlay is from Rhonna Farrer's New Year Kit. I am really having way to much fun with this digi stuff. These photos are some I took New Years Eve - Owen was in a goofy mood that night. I am really pleased with how this layout turned out. I hope you like it too.

This is another digi page which I cut out where the photos are--yes I cut around the feather too. This normally would have been a 12x12 page but I had to print it smaller. I just mounted it on some matching papers and added lace and the title. I like this style of heritage layouts but I never see them except on digi sites. I have made my own from scratch a few times but wanted to use these for my "different" style" today. I have had these digital pages in a drawer already cut out and just waiting to be used. On days I did not feel good, I'd sit with my feet up and cut out tons of digital images etc. for future use. I'm curious to see if anyone else uses this style to scrap.

This is where parts are loaded for the conveyer line.

This is a photo of what my scrapbooking closet looks like right now. Hopefully I can reorganize it soon, so I can start using it again.

The "new" thing I tried was the date stamp. I've wanted to use one for a while, and Lain's prompt was just what I needed!

This is another really simple LO... with inspirations pulled from three different places. First, there were two different LOs on Write.Click.Scrapbook that I pulled into my one LO here. Then, the title came from today's prompt with Kelli Crowe.

While this LO is simple, it's still a little different for me. I'm not sure how exactly, but it is.
