the title was suggested by "arnabchat", one year back in one of my similar snap....
Just another of many great takes on this scene as Alco S6 151 and our little train rolls east down Brown St. past the open trunk of a sedan and a cart full of groceries.
As cool as the scene is on the lower end of Brown Street past Kuppy's Diner, the bank and the post office I feel I was more enchanted with the upper end closer to interchange. I think it was because of the two small blocks of alley running and then skirting the parking lot of Karn's Grocery. While arguably less photogenic it was much more "alive" with customers coming in and out of the lot and store and startled traffic dodging the train all while customers went about their morning chore of loading groceries into their vehicles. The scene was just so much more dynamic and lively to me, changing by the moment. And the genuine curiosity and interest (or in some cases disinterest or disdain) of the general public as to what was happening and what we were doing was fun to just observe.

I saw this idea in a video of lockdown photo ideas to try. In the video he had a drum from an old washing machine and was able to set up the photo outside so was able to get a much wider angle of view, showing much more of the inside of the drum. Mine is done in my in situ machine - and it doesn't have the necessary depth either using a wide angle lens or even with my smaller Panasonic camera.

Kreka Mines' loading point at PK Å ikulje, near Tuzla, during the early morning on 21st October 2025. 'Kriegslok' 33-236 is waiting alongside the loader with a mixed rake of coal gondola wagons a two stores vans, with sister 'Kriegslok' 33-504 out of service and awaiting eventual works attention, which it has since received.

66777 'Annette' shunts it's wagons at Arcow quarry. With limited space available in the quarry the train moves back and forth a number of times to allow loading of all the wagons.
The train arrives as the 6M31 09:29 Doncaster to Arcow and would depart later in the afternoon as the loaded 6E77 16:57 to Hunslet Tilcon,

Red River Coal Company loadout operator Dwayne Carroll carefully monitors the loading process as a 60-car unit coal train of higher sulphur coal destined for the Eastman Chemical in Kingsport, Tennessee, is filled with black diamonds at Red River Coal's prep plant and loadout at Steer Branch/Dixiana, Virginia, on May 12, 2014. The lever he moving raises and lowers the height of the funnel.
With a long train of Powder River Basin coal loads on the drawbar, BNSF 9316 pulls eastward out of Elko siding on NS's Memphis District - East End in Huntsville, AL. The train is headed for Georgia Power's Plant Sherer at Juliette, between Atlanta and Macon.
