Фабрика мужских костюмов «Большевичка» на Каланчевке. За последние годы здание потеряло большую часть своей прекрасной вывески на крыше, поэтому пусть на картинке оно будет как в 2009
I started in the middle with no real plan and then just kept filling in around the design. No strings, just doodling with some zentangle mixed in. It was a miserable rainy day, so this is how I spent my afternoon.
decided last nite to get drunk and do up some stickers. this morning i cut them all out and tried to get a decent looking photo of them all together.
Yesterday night I sat down to train my linework. It ended up as this new shirtdesign. I wanted to go on some kind of early-punk/hardcore record sleeve vibe.
If you're a band or a brand and interested in the design just hit me up: hello@deedeekid.com

Drawn with a Midern Fuel bolt action copper .5 mechanical pencil and a Platinum Preppy EF02 fountain pen with Iroshizuku Take Sumi ink in a Leuchtturm1917 journal
Took this the other morning on my way to work. The power lines run close to the the dual carriageway at an angle, and just where the pylons align there is a convenient lay-by from which to take a photo. Shot with my old Contax 139Q 35mm SLR with Carl Zeiss 50mm lens, using expired (December 2003 from eBay) Fujichrome Provia 100F and cross processed.
This is my contribution to the Diva's challenge "String Theory v. X: Eccentric Circles". Actually this is my second attempt as my first was really a mess.
This week's challenge from Laura is all about your "home". I took this literally, looked out my window, and this is what I came up with. I live in south central British Columbia in an area that is semi-arid desert. We live near ponderosa pines, sagebrush, rabbit bush, grasslands, rattlesnakes, and spectacular silt cliffs. My silt cliffs depicted in this drawing, kind of look like milk bottles, but they are supposed to be silt with flat table land on top. We have the most interesting mountains and two rivers join in the middle of our city. Normally we have the hottest summer in Canada (averaging over 90 degrees), however we are on flood watch as we have had one of the wettest June's ever. If you drive an hour to the south, north and east, the land changes to lush rainforest type climate. If we need a break from the heat, we can just go for a drive to one of several beautiful swimming lakes. Enjoy.... can't wait to see everyone else's "homes".
I went nutty with my linework on a drawing that I used for a record cover. i haven't drawn like this in awhile and it felt good to let it roll!
