Drawn with a Modern Fuel bolt-action .5mm copper mechanical pencil and a Stex 100c copper fountain pen with a Schmidt EF nib in a Leuchtturm1917 journal.
I finally took the step :)
I chose this design for several reasons; One of them is to remind me of my own and my loved ones mortality. Live by the day. :)
Further to my previous image of linework.... guess, what... I couldn’t resist adding COLOUR! (Oh Liz!!) Anyway- it is now an interesting exercise on how much adding colour hides or enhances linework!

On this page i get sucked up in my own mind, with a problem (i guess) many artist have: What to create?
What must be made? What do people want to see? What do they need to see? What do i need for myself? Maybe i should go to artschool? Should i focus on one thing? Why not create everything? Is this really me or am i uncounciously painting something again that i want to be associated with?
Everything is doubt.. i hate these moments.
I now know i dont need these questions, nor the answers
Can you relate?
I decided to pick up the pens again and try out Diva's challenge this week, using only Crescent Moon. I haven't used this tangle before, so it was new to me and fun to do.
Painted on my iPhone 3g with SketchBookMobile. Inspired by the wonderful art of Alex Maleev on the Iron Man Civil War Trade Paperback that I was just reading recently. After about a decade or so away from comics, I've been delving into them alot more lately, catching up on some excellent work (and stories!)
