Infographica was the name I gave to my Final Major Project from my final year of university at The University of Wales, Newport in 2010. It was a collection of infographic peices and statistical analyses that were then combined into a 10 metre long banner which was attached to the destination board of a bus. This enabled the viewer to slowly scroll through the analyses viewing each individually through the window on the front.

This particular infographic shows Front, Back and side profiles of my body, Measurements were added to a later version of this peice which I will upload soon!

i like NW indian art. Apologies to any true indian if it somehow offends. Blue buttons added to indicate water.

My great-great-grandfather lived in this house. It was called Thorndean. No longer exists, sadly. It does look slightly like a gingerbread house.

Seeing my daughter, Jude’s basketball shoes in the hall gives me a sense of déjà vu (this week’s Illustration Friday topic) but that's probably because I owned a pair when I was her age.

Say hello to the first step of my next linocut! I'm working on a raven print for a commission. Initial troubles, I've had 'em - from getting the steps right to achieve a good transfer to not liking the linocut and starting over from step 1.

This is the re-do of 8 steps that I didn't like. Sometimes you take 8 steps back to get one step forward. But I learned a little more about the process each time.

Now I'm trying to figure out the rhythm of black, white, and grays to bring out this raven's song. Stay tuned!

I was so lucky that Alan Grinberg graciously allowed me to use his amazing, award-winning photo "Raven: Corvus Corax" as my photo-reference for this project. Thanks Alan! You can see more of his photography on Flickr @ www.flickr.com/photos/agrinberg or @ www.alangrinberg.com.

I'm feeling so excited to be back at sketching and doodling after neglecting this part of me for so long. It's not easy for me to sketch objects I see. I've never had a "lesson" and don't really know the first thing about it, yet I feel compelled to do it. I would so love to take some real art lessons some day.... Until then, there is a lot of joy and fulfillment in practicing.

A very different types of drawing/painting with a definite different feeling.

The left side water-colored line drawing and on the right side is watercolor without lines/no preliminary sketch.

Both using W&N pan watercolor with a small fine brush.

Sketch paper made in China.

Tangles done in the "Zentangle A Day" Book, created by Carole Ohl, CZT. Thanks for viewing. Your comments are appreciated.

A refined AI-assisted portfolio concept featuring ELI & DORO, imagined as a contemporary model duo shaped by elegance, restraint, and quiet presence.

The series brings together two distinct characters: ELI, poised and composed, and DORO, luminous and gently expressive. Between them unfolds a visual dialogue of maturity and youth, calm and warmth, heritage and modernity.

Particularly meaningful is the delicate line drawing derived from the historical black-and-white portrait. Reduced to a few essential strokes, it becomes more than an illustration: a subtle emblem of memory, connection, and origin. It lends the final sheet a sense of identity beyond fashion alone.

Set between Stuttgart and Mallorca, the portfolio moves through editorial, lifestyle, portrait, travel, and fine art moods while maintaining a coherent and timeless visual language.
