Parkplätze sind ein wunderbarer Ort zum Zeichnen, vorallem sonntags. So gibt es selten Zuschauer oder Hektik beim Zeichnen. Was ich dabei wirklich schön finde ist, dass ich überraschender Weise oft interessantere Orte als Motiv finde, die ich so Hauptwegen nie gefunden hätte. Ich liebe Hinterhöfe, alte Schrebergärten und alles was vllt nicht vorzeigbar für dessen Besitzer wäre. Wenn nichts wirklich der Ordnung entspricht, nichts perfekt angeordnet oder eingerichtet ist, dann ist es für mich perfekt und spannend!
Over the years I have made many sketches of an imaginary town where time has stood still somewhere in the late fifties/early sixties. This has been fuelled by my model railway ambitions, although it's generally easier to draw something than make a model :-)

What the title said , things getting a bit tight today and no shot for today !! Therefore a quick macro capture of a fridge magnet we have - a detailed look at the front end of an Avro Lancaster .
So in the nick of time a shot for today .

Back Lane. Ink (Platinum Carbon Black, Kala Moonstone, and J. Herbin Gris Nuage) on Bristol Smooth. This is an illustration for an as-of-yet unpublished book, but is based the back lanes of Thunder Bay, Ontario (specifically Westfort in the south). I took several photos to use a reference, and this is an amalgamation.
