Abstract composition.

March 1, 2017. Today I'm officially launching a very different body of work for me. The shift comes from my acquiring a new and vastly more complex software program for image production.

I'll be incorporating elements from all phases of my work, including Pano-Sabotage, which will repeatedly make appearances on a fairly regular basis. It is NOT going away.

I hope you like this new phase of the journey.

Both images are shot in Toronto's Cabbagetown, my favourite neighbourhood in the city. One in June of 2011 - straight shot on the left. The other image was from Dec 2016 and Pano-Sabotaged. The full image was put together in Feb 2017.

Cheers !!!

This was a fun find for Macro Mondays group's "Book" theme: "Betty Crocker's New Picture Cook Book" from 1961. It's chock full line art, such as the one above. Some additional illustrations: flic.kr/p/2oFeLgu and flic.kr/p/2oFaYuo

It amazes me how a few simple lines from this station of the cross at Westminster Abbey's chapel can represent an idea, emotions, and a scene so well.

Abstract geometric. 99.9 % done in 2020 even though my file will always say 2021.

Abstract composition. New one.

I see this as a between linedrawing and a painting..... this is it....nothing more...

made from a photo I have from Haslund forest...a forest nearby…..a great forest with a big variety of plants…..

This old-time storefront was in the Museum of the Big Bend. Beautiful register and old wood stove... I used Photoshop CC to make this line drawing from my photograph.

For my April Special Effects theme.

Mixed media drawing with pen and ink, paint and pencil.

Today I worked on training myself to understand the different thickness each numbered pen produces by drawing different animals in my new sketch book. It's definitely a learning process that will take time!

When I first met you

A thousand songs ago

I didn't know that you were

So many sunrises away...

This face was originally on the background.

after alighting the Dartmouth Inn with it's lively Halloween costumed customers,

we made our way to the Royal seven stars hotel with it's collection of more sombre clientele.

( at least on the inside ).

few refreshments later we set off in search of more merriment.
